Blandy’s - Duke of Cumberland Medium Sweet Madeira wine – 75cl

Although this doesn’t have the same depth and complexity of flavour as the 10 or 15 year old, it is still a brilliant wine. Even more so given the price point and the larger bottle

this is a wonderful wine.

We wanted something to remind us of our holiday to Maderia and to go with the traditional Maderia Honey Cake and this ticked the boxes. It was good enough to enhance the flavour of the cake after cooking as well as to drink with it. Quick delivery and packaged well. Will be ordering more soon.

Very nice Madeira wine, excellent price.

I didn't use the bottle I purchased last year for drinking, but did use it a lot in cooking and found it had a lot of applications. I mostly used it for Rossini sauce to go with steak and it never dissapointed, but the sweetness of the wine added a little extra something to dishes that usually require wine but otherwise ask for standard dry varieties. I particularly liked using it in risottos, where it added a nice sweetness that could compliment different kinds of ingredients in the meal.

With or without food a lovely Madeira to relax with To me it’s light medium sweet is a perfect chill out drink

The taste is great. The quality is splendid and the price is superb.
