Good quality protein shakes. Taste nice, are not powdery and have a nice thick texture. I've read reviews about upset stomachs and I agree they do. However, I found it only happened on the first one. The 2nd shake didn't cause me any problems and so I put this down to my stomach just getting used to the high level of protein. If you're looking for high protein, on the go breakfast/ lunch that will keep you full until dinner, give these a go.

Loses 1 star due to the cost but I love it all the same. I've tried lots of protein drinks over the years but this one from Huel is easily the best tasting.I've found it perfect as a meal replacement or as a substitute to deal with my sugar/chocolate cravings I get now and again and it's also a great addition to my weight training regime.

I expected a chalky mess, but this was smooth, fruity, and genuinely satisfying. Great for busy days when I want to eat like an adult but live like a raccoon. It fills me up and doesn’t give me that weird sugar crash.Nutritionally solid and packs a decent hit of protein. Also makes me feel like I’m part of a futuristic society where meals come in bottles. Good tasting and does keep you full for 3 hours

Best tasting chocolate protein drink ever. Will be buying this again and again. Good value for an excellent product, nice and creamy and the thickness makes one feel they could almost eat this. For the first time I have not slumped after lunch. My energy level stayed up and my blood glucose stayed within range

There’s something very wrong with this batch of Huel black edition. It’s very thin and watery and tastes really bad. It’s undrinkable and nothing like my usual order. Has something gone wrong in the process of making it? I bought 8 x 2 bottles of the chocolate flavour. Has put me off risking buying anymore which is a pity because I do like it a lot.

I’ve been on these for only 3 days, I have one for breakfast as a meal replacement whilst eating in a calorie deficit to try to loose weight and they are so good, one in the morning fills me up until after dinner time so I don’t snack at all anymore.Only issue is they make u feel abit bloated for about an hour or 2 after drinking them but that’s because they are quite thick, the vanilla flavour is really food, slightly powdery texture but nothing major. Wish they was slightly cheaper but you get what you pay for they have loads of vitamins and nutrients so it’s worth it. Not full of sugar like the cheaper brands. Definitely recommend, you don’t feel hungry after drinking them, it’s worth the money.
