Poor value shears due to poor durability. Good edge, but the rest is weak plastic and the handle soon gave up. Overpriced!

I bought the cheapest secateurs I could find as we already have two pairs which SOMEBODY has managed to temporarily mislay so we couldn't find them, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something we already own..somewhere!But these surpassed my expectation and chopped and snipped everything they have been asked to, with no problem at all. I can't speak for their longevity as only had them a few days but they have certainly seemed to be worth the money.

I'll admit, I'm not one for gardening. I have a wooden fence, that a bush outside managed to grow though. It was everywhere.So, I bought these secateurs and went to town. It made very short work of the thinner branches that had grown through the fence and handled the thicker branches from the main bush easily. These branches were maybe 3/4 of an inch thick and healthy, not dry brittle ones.That is my total experience with these secateurs, and possibly, my only experience. Did I mention I'm not one for gardening? :)

I used these today dead heading Rose's easy to hold and very sharp. Very impressed with pruners and would recommend them.

Took while to arrive but when it did it is a nice little tool.

A well made, useful tool in your garden, recommended.
