Pangea Turntable Add On LP Storage Kit - Black

I had bought two full racks and had some leftover shelves so I bought this LP set to “build” a small table. Well made and strong fit. Like most, I wish you could buy individual pieces.

Shipped quickly and arrived ahead of schedule. Easy to add this shelf to my existing four shelf Pangea equipment rack. Graphite color looks great. Finished rack with the additional shelf looks good and accommodated all my audio equipment.

Fit perfectly on my current tower. Great color match after purchasing original unit a year ago. Fits most of my vinyl collection.

Everything was wrapped nicely and protected. The company really cares about the product they are selling. I bought a turntable stand from them a few years ago and was very satisfied. Even though they have gone up in price significantly the quality is there to match the price.

The design of the entire rack including Add On LP storage Kit is very clever. No tools are necessary. Everything was assembled by hands. Generous space for equipment. Pangea has a separate sub, amplifier stands, which I also recommend for heavier equipment as monoblocks.

Just finished putting together the 4 shelf Vulcan X rack and added this LP shelf at the same time. All looks great and is vey sturdy, but I noticed that the LP add on shelf is significantly thinner than the rest of the shelves. (15.875mm vs 19mm) This is very disappointing as a full load of LPs (holds up to 80) will likely be the heaviest thing to be placed on any of the shelves. Will it hold without warping or breaking? Only time will tell. But it make no sense whatsoever for Pangea to sell a shelf in the Vulcan X line that is not the same thickness as the others. This boarders on bait and switch.

Prefect for adding album storage and makes the turntable stand a better height for use and look.
