Timberland Mens West Haven 6Inch Side-Zip Boot

At first when I got these, they felt snug on my feet but after I "broke them in" they feel great. I like the slim and long look of the boots. The shoes are made of real leather. I like the zipper on the side for convenience of taking the shoe off. It has nice treads on the bottom and it keeps one from slipping. I got the black color ones and they are great, they go with just about any pants, the tan lines at the bottom actually give nice accents but also make it go with khakis. I think these can be casual or semi-dress boots so if one is traveling light, they are a good choice.Update: it has been 5 years since I got these pair, and they still look good and held up well. I wore them every fall, winter, and spring since I got them. I sprayed on the protective coating for shoes to add extra protection against rain and snow. I really like that it is quite slim and fits inside the pants bottom. The rubber bottom of the shoes started to wear a little so I am planning to buy another pair of these quality boots soon.

I ordered a size 10.5 for my husband. He normally wears a 10.5 Wide but since they weren't available, we decided to try just a regular 10.5. These boots fit him extremely well, he says they are very comfortable and they offer him the much needed support he was needing in his ankles. He dresses business casual for his job and these boots look very classy with his attire. They would look really good to dress up a pair of jeans as well. I haven't looked yet to see if these boots are available in brown but if they are, I will probably order for him.These boots shipped quickly and arrived within one week of ordering. I didn't choose expedited shipping even though it was available.I e-mailed the seller before I ordered to see if they would be okay with me returning them in case the 10.5 didn't fit and they responded quickly and let me know that as long as the boots weren't worn (only tried on for fit) they would accept returns.Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

I'd recommend ordering down half a size from your typical dress shoe size. I wear a 9.5 Allen Edmonds everything, but luckily I ordered these in a 9. They fit perfectly, and they're way more comfy than I expected. Really felt great from day one. Just keep in mind, these are fairly inexpensive boots, and they don't scream high-end quality. But they are reliable, everyday footwear for casual office, school, weekends, and they really do look great with jeans. Got a compliment the first day I wore 'em, so there's that.

They look great, and I'm very pleased. I work in the office of a construction company, and everyone wears boots of one kind or another. These got compliments across the board.I also bought them to wear in Europe on vacation, and didn't want to bring multiple pairs of shoes. So whatever I brought had to be durable enough to get muddy and wet and then be nice enough to go to fine dining and museums. These fit the bill. We also walked 16-20 miles per day, and these boots were very comfortable, a concern because I have high arches and occasional back problems from walking on pavement. As long as they last for a few years, would buy them again.

These are a great looking pair of boots that have a good balance utility and design.As other reviews mention, these are sized half a size large as boot are, so compensate when you order. I wear a size 9 1/2 for all normal shoes and a size 9 in these boots fits perfectly.The leather is fairly thick, but soft enough that it breaks in quickly. The rubber soles have a decent amount of flex to them as well making this a good all day boot.These are definitely worth the purchase.

Shoes fit as expected and I usually wear them all day, everyday. Maybe they are the best shoes I've ever owned. I wax them regularly and they look great! A couple of complaints include: it seems like I have worn them to the point - after a couple months of use - that I need additional insoles for support. Also, I was using the shoe pull-on loop on the back to put the shoes on and it broke after only a month. I looked at the construction and it seems like one end of the loop is not stitched to the shoe. So don't use these - they are for decoration only! I glued it until I can go to a cobbler. I would love to give four stars, but when something breaks after a month that is supposed to be used for intended purposes, I have to dock a star!Edit 5/7/2016: I had to dock another star because it appears the heel is coming off after only 6 months of use. Very disappointing!

Great looking boot, unfortunately the zipper separates on a regular basis and you have to untie the laces/remove the boot in order to reset the zipper. This began happening within a week of purchasing them.

Great quality boot with warm socks in the winter. Genuine leather. Constructed well.Lasting a long time.I think I spent $129.99 in 2017. Well worth the price. True to size. Perfect 11.5.
