I needed a docking station for my laptop and this one does the job. It's easy to connect and very compact.

Works as expected! Plug into a laptop and easily connect a monitor and keyboard. It's compact and easy to stash in my work bag. I have one older Dell laptop that it works with, but keeps throwing windows compatibility issues (even though it's working). Overall a decent multiport device.

I needed a docking stations for my laptop to dock a monitor, keyboard and mouse. This works fairly well. If does what I need it for. Small and travel friendly if I decide to take my keyboard and mouse to places.

Connected to my device quickly. It is lightweight. It was perfect for me.

Everything works as advertised and even charges my laptop with the power pass-through. However, sometimes when my laptop goes to sleep it does not reconnect on wake up. I get passed this by unplugging and plugging it back in which usually works to resolve the issue. Occasionally it has not reconnected and I have to restart my laptop.

Plug-and-play simplicity at its finest! I have a need to share my screen via HDMI, but my laptop doesn't have a HDMI port because it's the age of USB-C-is-all-you-need. Enter this little dock! The extra memory chip slots are useful, but I really love that everything I lost access to when I suddenly had USB-C only, I instantly regained. This is an easy answer to that type of problem.

Every port listed in the ad is present, and works to my satisfaction. I have no means to measure the speed or quality capacities advertised, but they certainly seem faster than I'm used to, and the HDMI gives seemingly equal output to my Alienware onboard HDMI. The case is solid, and the cable is flexible without being limp or feeling like it will break easily.There is one thing that occurred to me: I do very much wish they had labeled the different USB ports, particulary as I don't know which is supposed to be the high performance port just from looking at it. Even if I did, my ADHD mind is the sort that would forget it in short order. I think I will look up which is which, and paint them accordingly (or I might use a sharpie, something like that), and I would recommend anyone purchasing this do the same. If the manufacturer reads this, I would highly recommend doing this for your customers in the future - save us the trouble, and keep the appearance of the item looking nice for anyone who might come across it and inquire about it. Attention to detail rings the bell!Final thoughts: I would award four and a half stars, with a half star taken away from a perfect total of five for neglecting to label the ports appropriately, but that option is not afforded here. Thus, given the choice between declaring four stars or five, I have chosen five, because, while labeling would be a nice touch, it doesn't really affect the performance of the item, and they never did claim to label said ports in the first place in their advertising. It seems unfair to punitively demote a ranking by that much simply because of a preference that was never addressed in the first place.

This is a nice little donglefor your laptop. Calling this is a docking station is a bit much. You don't actually dock anything with it.That said it offers a nice amount of extra ports, memory card slots, and an hdmi port. My newer laptop has zero USB A ports, so a dongle like this is nice, adding 3 USB A slots. One of these is a high speed USB 3.0 port, but you can't tell which one as it isn't labelled. Build quality is fairly standard. Aluminum(?) metal body, which is rugged enough for reliable basic use.Overall a solid adapter that adds a lot of flexibility to laptops. It has adequate amount of ports and will suffice for most people's needs.
