We've played this game 3 or 4 times now & we love it! The app is super fun, the clips are super fun & the app makes it super easy to setup & start playing quickly. Would recommend to any soundtrack fan.

Good game

Finally got a chance to play this for the first time last night and we had so much fun! I am looking forward to playing it again. There were three of us playing and I can see it would be even more fun with more people. You use the game board along with an app that plays all the music and has other hints when needed. The game comes with a stand for your iPhone but we didn’t use it as we used my iPad as the app works with both your iPhone and iPad. The app worked perfectly.You can play with individuals or with teams, up to eight of either. Eight seems like a lot but it’s got the ability to accommodate that. I’d say if you have more than five people, teams would be a better idea, but that’s my opinion.The game is not easy. There are many movies we didn’t know of or at least hadn’t seen. But there were just as many that we had. Most of the time we didn’t know a movie right off but needed to use the “cut” cards for more hints. There is no penalty for using the hints though some variations of game play would make it harder. We played where each turn you had six cut cards and after your turn you could replenish all that you used. The cut cards allowed you to see some of the cast, here another song clip, hear a sound clip from the movie, get the plot, phone a friend for help, and to get a new movie. They made it fun. Without them we would probably not enjoyed the game as much because you really need some extra help most of the time. For example, one of the movies was “Arthur”. As soon as I heard Dudley Moore’s voice at the very end of the movie sound clip (not the music sound clip), I knew what the movie was. Until then I had no clue.The movie range we saw was 1942-2023(could go earlier, that’s just what we saw this time). You can pre select what ratings (G, PG, PG13, R) so if you’re playing with kids you can get rid of the rating categories you don’t want to come up. So totally family friendly. Also, most times you get a choice between two movies. It gives you the year and what kind of movie, such as action adventure, comedy romance, fantasy animated, etc.If you are a movie buff you will love this game!UPDATE: We have now played this five times and have really enjoyed it. But there are some things I would change. It takes too long. We haven’t tried this yet but I think it would help to get credit for know the name of the song and the artist. If you get those right you can move a space forward for each one. Also, the switching places on “understudy” really slows down the game, same with going backwards.The biggest disappointment though was during the fifth time playing it ran out of movies and songs. We struggled to reset it but finally got it working again. Then it was just repeats. It would be nice if they would update the app and add more movies. Otherwise I see no point in keeping playing as eventually you memorize them even if you haven’t seen the movies. I removed a star due to this. It was very fun until this happened.

Tried to start a second game after playing this and the sound wouldn’t work.. not sure if it’s a user issue or the game so not giving it more than 3 stars.

It’s a very good, quality product and we have lots of fun using it. It comes with several free packs and have so many different movie, song, and sports packages you can buy at a cheap price.

This game was a lot better than I thought it would be. The only problem was registering the game, it's required. However a phone call to customer service quickly remedied that. Everyone had fun playing it. It gets very cut throat towards the end when players start using their VIP cards against each other. BTW, the customer service was great.
