Good option for fast fancy nails that won't break the bank!
First, I am not a girly girl. I do WAY too much gardening to even paint my nails. But every once in awhile, you need to be fancy for an event. Back in February, I got acrylic tips put on my nails during a spa day with my sister and daughter. Four weeks later I had them removed which complete trashed my natural nails. I spent the next almost 3 months trying to get them past the weak, splitting, cracking condition that they were left in. They FINALLY grew the nail beds out so the nails would be stronger but I wanted to protect the nails because I do a lot of gardening and every time I was done I had to cut them all the way back. So I started seeing these ads for CurvLife nails on Facebook. I never buy anything on FB but I did find them on Amazon. I decided, after reading the reviews that I would give them a try. I ordered a pretty pink set French manicure look (this review), a fancier pink set that has some special nails in the set and a set that are like muted rainbow colors, with supposedly enough to create a staggered look of the colors.First, make sure your nails are clean. Do a quick wipe with alcohol or polish remover then rinse with water. Next, slightly buff the nails. This helps the glue hold better. Next, choose the tip for each finger. I went through the entire set, picked the ones that would work on each hand and set them in order on the table. Then I did some filing on them, rounding some of the edges better and getting rid of the little burr on the tip of the nail from when they were manufactured. This did not affect the look of the nails at all. Some people say they are too thick. After the acrylic set I had done at the salon, I found these to be much better, thickness wise.Next comes the gluing. The kit comes with glue, about the viscosity of super glue and it sticks FAST. So be aware of than when setting the nail. There isn't a lot of time for adjustment before the glue is hardened. Like 3 seconds? I did purchase, at the same time, their kit with glue and remover. THAT glue was less watery and had a bit more time to get the nail set before you couldn't adjust it anymore. Five seconds I would say.Wear and tear: The first day, they stayed on despite me going out and doing some gardening. WIN! Over the next three days one nail here and there would pop off randomly as I was doing stuff. I partially blame myself because I didn't use a lot of glue because like I said the glue that came with the kit was like superglue and I didn't want it to leak out and get on my fingers. When they did this I reapplied them with the thicker glue from the kit that included the remover. After reapplying with that glue, they didn't pop off again. I kept them on until today, about 4 days total wear. This set was more to see how they worked out for me, not to see how long they would last.Removal: I knew today was the day for removal as one fell off as I was towel drying my hair. So I applied the remover as instructed and the majority came right off. My nails were fine underneath. No weakening. No damage to the natural nails. The ones I had reapplied with the thicker glue took a little extra love to get off. I reapplied the remover a few times, lifting the nail where I could to get it underneath and they popped right off. Just be patient and let the remover do it's thing. Any glue residue came right off with nail polish remover. Be sure to apply some hand cream and a product to moisturize the natural nails afterwards. So would I buy again? Absolutely! They are perfect if you want instant fancy nails that look natural, won't require a trip to the salon and are easy to remove when you want to. I would recommend the glue/remover kit they sell and using that glue instead of the stuff provided with the nail kit. It seems more effective. They supply enough tips to allow a full set on any hand.

Cute Spring nails
Nails are the perfect length for my active lifestyle. Colors are vibrant and make for a great spring look. The quality of the material is very sturdy. Not too thin or thick. Color on the tips did wear a bit after two weeks of wear but I would definitely buy again.

Don't let the price fool you.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I am now allergic to acrylic nails, wasn't impressed with gel nail reviews. Then I found this brand. The nails are super easy to put on. I am able to go about a week and a half between sets. My job requires typing all day. Plus I wash dishes by hand and clean without gloves. I am able to go about a week and a half between sets. Once the glue gives out on one nail, the rest follow within a day or two. The remover is also easy to use and less of a mess. No more soaking my hands in pure acetone. But you have to let the remover do it's job. I tried the sticky tabs. And if put on correctly, they do hold well. But I would only use them if it was for a special occassion, for a day or two. I love the variety of colors and styles. Now I can have decorated nails and they look professional. The big plus for me is the price. Although the nails aren't as strong as acrylic, you find out quick what you can and can't do. Like, don't use them as a knife to open Amazon packages.

Disappointed
Make sure you have really long nail beds because the skin color part is very long. These are long nails, NOT medium and there’s no shortening them because you’ll lose the white tip and then they’ll really look strange. These skin color part is too dark and too pink. They’re cute but not what I’d hoped for. I’ll probably remove them in a day or two because I can’t function with nails this long.

Durable and natural looking, love them!
Purchased these to wear for a belly dance performance one weekend and a wedding the following weekend. I wanted a DIY option to save a little $$. I love a classic French with nail design, plus all things butterfly - and these were under $10! - so I immediately added these to the cart as soon as I saw them. It took me about 30 min to apply, including the full mani I gave myself to prep my nails.I feel like these will last a little longer than the two weeks for which I need them. I use my hands a lot - computer work, making jewelry, hula hoop dancing, belly dancing with props, gardening, etc. Have had them on for about 4 days now, and they're holding steady. One nail popped off already, but I knew I hadn't used enough glue the first time, so I was expecting that. The pink color is a bit darker than I thought it would be, but that works out since I have darker skin and it looks more natural on me. The thickness of each nail is perfect - strong enough not to break/bend, but not too think that you can't properly function with day to day activities (i.e. wipe your bum, do your hair or makeup, etc.) Length is short enough to make a fist, long enough to look elegant.Overall, I am pleasantly surprised with the purchase and I will definitely order these again to add to the dance/makeup stash!

A week and still strong!
These fit well, and stay on, and look great! After a week I put a clear top coat over them because they weren’t as shiny as they were in the beginning, but ai still love them. I ordered the glue and remover set for the application, and made sure my own nails were clean and wiped with alcohol to get any oil off. I’m not a salon nail girl, but I have an unbreakable nail biting habit and I’m hoping that wearing these for a while will cure me.
