It Works
It works well. It's not as rigid as the Dell one, but it did the job.

Perfect fit for Dell XPS-8940. Holds a 3.5" HDD firmly in place. Slides into the Dell HDD mount.
This is a perfect fit for my Dell XPS-8940 HDD. This bracket snaps over your HDD and stays on firmly. The ABS plastic shell has 4 pins that clip inside the mounting holes on the HDD. Then I just slid it into the HDD frame inside my Dell XPS-8940 and connected the cables. You do have to stretch the ABS plastic frame a little to get it to fit into the holes in the HDD. This is so the frame will hold onto the HDD without allowing any vibration once the HDD is inside the case. It feels like it is made well and sturdy. At $11.99 I feel the price is good, given the quality and fit. I would highly recommend this HDD bracket for a Dell XPS-8940.

It wasn't the correct one for my computer.
I don't know which Dell computer this bracket was for, but it didn't fit my Precision T7500. I had to modify it to make it work.

Works Well For Basic Tasks
This caddy holds one 3.5-inch HDD for Dell systems and worked well to replace a broken one in one of my older systems. The products feels a little flimsy, but it gets the job done and unless you're going to be frequently extracting it to replace drives this should hold up. It's a very basic, functional hard drive caddy. Nothing less, nothing more.
