As stated before - no bottom!
So that really affects the stability. And we also had a missing screw so had to dig one up in the garage. I was going to invert this and make a bench for my garden but ended up using it as a planter. It's ok as a planter, flimsy but once it is filled with dirt it's ok, however, I wouldn't have ever paid this much for a flimsy metal garden container! I wish I'd read the reviews first, I wouldn't have ordered it without a bottom and at this price. my bad.

It's good but now what I expected
This is a fine product for what it is but it is not what I expected. To me a planter would include a bottom with drain holes. This product has no bottom at all so it is more like an enclosure for a raised bed. I will not be returning it because the quality is pretty good and I can use it, but it is not what I expected.

Looks awesome. Farmhouse chic.
Read the reviews before purchasing. My husband put this together without any issues, although he did make sure not to tighten until all pieces were put together. Easier to assemble with 2 people. Looks great. Even better now that my flowers are blooming. Would buy again.

No base included and assembly required but sturdy
The bins need to be assembled and do not come with a base. FYI . But the seem sturdy and are aesthetically pleasing

Nice dulled finished with an industrial/urban feel.
We had to change our plan for this as we originally thought to use it on our balcony. Because it has no bottom, we taped landscape fabric inside to create a bottom to prevent dirt from rinsing out. Now we are placing them on a concrete patio. I really like the industrial/urban feel and the finish is dulled not shiny which is a plus. We too had an unthreaded nut, but they go together easily.

Great for tomato plants
I love these things. I've bought three of them now. I love that they don't have a bottom so they don't hold water and rot The Roots of your plants. I grow tomatoes in them and they are wonderful. I got them so I could move my little garden around as my needs change. Each one holds two tomato plants

What more does one expect?
This is plenty sturdy for holding 9 cubic feet of the sort of soil I use. It has no bottom. Expect it. I lined the bottom of mine with sheet plastic, stones and chunks of sterilized wood, screen, and then soil. Very pleased with the size and depth. I might have tried snipping sheet metal and crimping it into this same shape but it would have cost me the same in materials, and much, much more work.

Excellent choice
Light weight but sturdy. Easy to put together, though one of the screws was defective. I purchased four, spray painted the outside with Rustoleum, to match the house and arranged them around the edge of the yard. Have received many compliments on them. I needed something to accommodate back problems. I also purchased a small stool and sitting on the stool I can garden in comfort. One note - the description didn't mention that they have no bottoms, perfect for placing directly on the ground, but probably not good for a patio.

Nice planters
I did read and see most people were upset there was no bottom on these but knowing this they are a nice unit and very nice looking metal finish. There not super thick by any means and a bit of time to screw it all together but nice result.

It has no bottom!
I ordered 2 . One arrived damaged. It says no assembly required and doesn’t mention it doesn’t have a bottom. Not functional for my project. Very disappointing.
