I'm very happy with the Z1RC portable monitor. I use it as an additional external monitor for my laptop (and other computers) and owing to the monitor supporting both USB-C and HDMI inputs I've been able to connect to all the devices I need. USB-C connections are better as you only require one cable but if you need to use HDMI it just requires a USB-C connection for power. All the cables needed are supplied.The maximum resolution of 2560x1600 is great, you may want to adjust the scaling to suit your needs.I haven't used the speakers so can't comment on the quality of the output but audio output is really important to you you'd probably use external speakers or headphones anyway.It's very light so easy to carry around, currently I transport it in the box it came in, it's sturdy and not cumbersome.It doesn't require an external mains power supply .Looks great and and functionally complete

Really impressed with this. Bought it as I need a portable second monitor for an overseas trip. Chose this one as it's got a higher resolution that most similarly sized portable monitors and the price was good (£119 including £20 off voucher). It's very thin and light and the incorporated stand works really well - I was holding out on getting a separate monitor stand but definitely don't need one.The picture quality is excellent - crisp, bright and clear. I'm viewing at 2560x1600 with 125% text scaling on Windows 11 and it's clear and readable. Bezels are minimal and it seems very well constructed. I bought it for software development work and it's got plenty of screen space for an IDE. Setting up is a question of plugging in the provided USB C cable and that's it! There are three cables included so pretty much any eventuality is catered for.

The built-in eye care features also mean I can use it for longer sessions without uncomfortable eye strain, which is important for me since I travel often and rely on a portable workstation.Overall, the ARZOPA Z1RC strikes a fantastic balance between portability and high-end performance. Great monitor. Good resolution and very light to carry around. The only small issue is connecting to the latest Macbook laptops which don't power with USBC alone, so you'll need a separate hdmi lead

The intention was to take this on holiday to get near laptop experience using my Samsung S24 and their Dex app (it’s fab 😊) – and this display more than meets that – and it displays in full resolution (2k) with the Good Lock app. Super sharp text; colours and vibrancy are great – and brightness is outstanding!! Pic shows display on right - so much better than my laptop display!Connectivity via two USBCs and the mini-hdmi with all leads included is a great deal! The kickstand is a nice extra too. Built in speakers are OK in a pinch.To improve – only a case really – I can’t take a star away for lack of a case! Apart from that, this is a lovely, sturdy, and well-made unit. So 5* to Arzopa

I'm going to amend this review, I'm just posting my experience.I got this screen to use with my Steam Deck and it runs OK, however, every now and again, the screen goes black, get the logo and the game continues, it's it faulty? It's the screen not designed for gaming, I discovered an Azorpa gaming monitor, so I sent this one back and got the gaming one.The screen is great, very bright, very clear, the sound is incredibly quiet, barely hear it, I usually put my buds in for my Deck so it ain't a deal breaker just don't expect much. There's no on board battery, again, not a deal breaker, got me some pretty pokey power banks.The monitor looks good, feels good and performs good, just not great for gaming, like I said, I'll amend this when the gaming version comes....
