Worth it for plant parents!
This is a great product! My home has very few windows with only a little light coming through, so grow lights is a must for my plant babies. I have bought other brands of grow lights of lower wattage, some which can be seen in the bottom of the photo, and they have nothing on the Sansi 36 watt grow light. Within a week of using this light, I have seen my plants go from content to thriving! Most notably, my monstera deliciosa is sprouting a new leaf and its aerial root that I had placed in a moss pole has grown nearly 5 cm. I’m definitely going to want another light from Sansi. Until then, my cart of plants is going to be overcrowded around this bulb🤣The bulb does not overheat. I am able to touch it and move it if necessary without burning myself. It is one of the brightest lights I’ve ever seen, and it makes the colors of my plants pop whereas other lights I have do not.

Not Awful, But There Are Better Bulbs: Bright w/Wide Beam Spread - Heavy, Hot, Expensive
PROS: Powerful wattage, sufficient infrared diodes to support fruiting and flowering, and a decently wide beam spread.CONS: It gets pretty hot after a while, and it's very very heavy (as you can see from my picture, I have to use really powerful duct tape to hold my gooseneck lamp up, as the bulb is so heavy that the lamp cannot lift it without help... I frequently have to replace that tape too; it struggles to hold for much longer than a week). I'm not sure if it's safe for your eyes, or if it needs to be covered at all times? I also found it to be relatively expensive, when compared with comparable bulbs from some other brands.BETTER BULB RECOMMENDATION: GE makes a comparable bulb - the one that's rated for outdoors and is made like a flood light; be sure to choose the one that is specific to fruiting and flowering, as opposed to their greens and seeds version. GE's bulb is cheaper, more lightweight by a lot, and slightly cooler to the touch. The GE bulb is also safe for eyes.

Satisfied
Positives:- The light does not get hot. I can touch it at any time and it will not burn my skin. It is warm to the touch.- It saved my jade plants on the left. I watered them in November last year and their location in my apartment received little light. As a result, the soil stayed wet and I lost about half the growth. I bought this light in January year (2020) - almost a year ago - to provide light to the plants (I also bought a heating pad to help the base dry out). It's hard to say which one saved my favorite jade plants, but I'd like to think they both worked well together. The jade has new growth on it under this light (I rotate them in and out around the edges while keeping the more light-dependent cactus and euphorbia directly beneath the light) even during the winter. Also, the plants dry out faster in this brighter space and with the grow light, so I am very pleased.- My cactus and euphorbia plants seem to do well under the light (they should be in hibernation with the cooler temperatures). I expect decent growth from them once it warms up in the building as spring approaches.- My aloe responded very well under the light and put out new growth even though it should be dormant right now. I have moved it out so that it can rest. The light seems effective and is never too hot to touch - which is in my opinion the best thing about this light - as I want it to continue to provide light to my succulents without forcing them out of dormancy too early. The added heat would counteract that, so this cool bulb is perfect. It is plenty bright - it hurts the eyes to look upon it directly (which I do not recommend doing).Negatives - I haven't seen any. A year later and my succulents are healthy, seemingly happy with appropriate growth levels. I do not know how it performs with flowering plants or broad-leafed plants, but for succulents, it has performed well a year out without any issues.

Satisfied customer
Excellent customer service. I bought several of these bulbs in 2024. One of them recently stopped turning on, possibly due to a power surge harming that internals, I'm not sure. But I contact them via email and they swiftly sent me a replacement free of charge. They were well spoken and very friendly. These bulbs are wonderful. Nice and bright with very good heat dissipation. I used them for all indoor areas where my plants need extra light support, such as in corners or spaces away from windows. Very satisfied customer and will be purchasing them for years to come.

Very good grow lights, plants love them
they are fantastic grow lights. they work well for my plants. there is just one thing to keep in mind, no matter how long sansi says they will last, the truth is they will last about 12-15 months. still I would reccomend them as they are close to natural light and the plants do well with them. Whatever you do don't buy the red and blue ones, they don't really work well for plants. So I would give five stars if the bulbs lasted more than a year.
