The boat flooring has several important features.PROS: (No CONS Observed.)* This high quality EVA boat flooring is ideal for my boat since it provides a tough, non-skid surface. This is an important safety feature.* Before starting your project, remove the flooring from the box.  Re-roll in the reverse direction and tie with sturdy cord for about a week.  This will flatten the roll out and will make it much easier to cut and install in your boat.* It is wise to make a paper or cardboard template. I custom fit this template to the area before cutting the EVA.  This helps to eliminate errors in cutting and fitting and gives a high-quality installation and appearance.* EVA is easy to cut and custom fit with sharp scissors.* The beautiful “faux teakwood” appearance, shock absorption, noise reduction and underfoot cushioning are major improvements after installation is complete.* I plan to install the EVA this spring without engaging the adhesive back.  It makes it much easier to remove the EVA from the boat, at the end of the boating season, for easier annual cleaning outdoors with soap and a hose.* EVA flooring is waterproof. I used it in my camper van. One roll is 94" and was just enough for 2 48 inch strips. (Minus the 2 inches) It looks great, almost like real wood and its textured so you dont slip. I wish it would have been a little longer but I can live with one side being a bit short.

This faux teak self adhering flooring made for boat decks is a great material for other applications as well. Any floor that is commonly wet and sees only light foot traffic can be covered with this material also.With the padding built right in, the flooring has a slight noticeable give in each step, perfect for bare foot traffic. You really have to use your imagination to project the "look" of a teak deck, yet the alternating parallel lines are still a nice pattern and provide some texture as well.3M adhesives are second to none in any application. Pealing off the backing and pressing the material onto a clean dry surface is enough to secure the flooring firmly to the deck. Cutting the material to size is easy with a good quality shear, scissor or utility knife. If seams are needed, they can be made undetectable with proper installation techniques, easily found on youtube or rumble.Like any review, the long term durability requires some long term. This looks and feels like a strong material with the ability to suffer some abuse and sunshine. If things deteriorate faster than expected along the way, I will make every effort to update this review.With those details in mind, I have to say this is a good choice of material for boat decks or similar conditions. Easy to install, easy to maintain, easy on the feet and most importantly easy on the wallet. I recommend buying some a laying it down.
