I've been trying to make the change to unbleached toilet paper due to the nasty toxic chemicals used during production of regular toilet paper but haven't been able to find a cost-effective way of doing this. Most unbleached toilet papers are quite pricey and you don't normally get much for your money. That was until I discovered Pambo bamboo toilet paper.The toilet rolls arrive in a lovely, well-presented box which contains 48 rolls. You’d expect the box to be huge as it contains 48 rolls, but it’s not. Very easy to store away in a cupboard. There is no unnecessary and wasteful plastic packaging, as is often the case with normal toilet paper brands. Just the box and toilet paper rolls.This was my first experience trying bamboo toilet paper, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's been fantastic. The paper has a darker, more natural-looking colour as opposed to the toxic, bleached white paper we are used to. At first glance, the colour gives the impression the texture of the paper is going to feel coarse and rough, but it's the opposite. It's nice and soft yet still very strong and resilient! It doesn't tear easily or disintegrate immediately. There's something about the texture of this paper that gives it an edge over the heavily processed toilet paper from leading brands. It really feels natural, and you get a better use out of it.The description states there are 320 sheets per roll, but it definitely lasts much longer than regular quality toilet roll. If you care about the colour of toilet paper, this might not be for you as it does stand out in the bathroom. However, for me personally, it's not something that I would ever care about. I don't buy toilet paper to enhance the aesthetics of my bathroom.I have been wanting to try bamboo toilet paper for a while now, and I'm so happy Pambo was my first pick as it's amazing! I'm on my second order now, and I don't think I'll even bother trying any other brand as my experience with Pambo has been so good. At its current price for 48 rolls, it's excellent value for money, especially for what it is.One thing's for sure, I'll never go back to mass-produced, bleached toilet paper ever again. Reasonably priced , soft and doesn't disintegrate like some others. Very good product ,durable. Will be buying again.

I have used many different types of bamboo toilet paper and this is the worst I have ever had.1, Not soft and rip's easy.2, Need to use more due to number 1.3, The loo roll is smaller in width than a normal one.4, The paper is very loosely rolled.5, Considering I buy bamboo because it is the fastest growingplant and stops trees being cut down, this has a cardboardtube not the normal bamboo one.6, If we had not started the first roll I would of returned it as iin our opinion this is rubbish.Only bought this one as it was unbleached big mistake. Honestly pay the extra for the much better quality and value of money and avoid buying this, I can't wait to use it up as it is that bad and a rip off.

We have gone through so many bamboo toilet paper brands. This is hands-down the best value for money. You get a lot of paper on one roll, the paper is thicker than most other bamboo loo roll which are usually 2 ply and at the same price, and as someone with very sensitive smell - there is no strong smell. My only worry is.. where is Pambo now? There website where you can also subscribe directly looks like they’ve gone out of business?

I am all about removing chemical and using natural products even if this means my toilet paper looks beige. I don't mind, health is above looks and appearances in my life.Those toilet papers are however much more expensive and wonder why if they don't go through bleaching process etc. It is probably the material used in production that cost a lot more.If it comes to the size of each roll, I noticed that sometimes you think you are getting a good deal but there are a lot of tricks being used. The hole in the middle is sometimes bigger than in the normal toilet paper, or the size of the tissue is much narrower or fluffed to appear as there is more volume. That's the reason I have taken one star off. This toilet paper is compact so no fluffiness trick and the hole in the middle is reasonable. But the tissue itself is on a smaller size due to the fact it is very narrow and the whole roll is not very tall.I tired to compare to the only other toilet rolls I had in my house, even though it is not a good comparison as the green ones were very expensive so probably not a standard size, but I feel the size was close enough for this exercise.

Product is amazing, super soft, natural colour, never tried Bamboo Toilet paper before and wont go back to mass produced, bleached, products again. A great way to help the planet.

Ethically this ticks all the boxes, unfortunately I couldn't stand the smell

Oi oi proud to say my hoop loved it proper unbleached bog roll free from nasty chemical's and it’s bamboo 2 happy days so saved a tree too be nice to you’re chocolate starfish and buy buy buy stay true to yourself and fight the fight only natural chem free bod roll will do
