iPad Smart Cover (for iPad 9.7-inch) - Charcoal Gray

I upgraded my iPad finally - from a first gen iPad to this. I was using the original polyurethane case on that. Despite having that since 2011, the case has served it amazingly despite it's design flaws. Both the case and iPad are immaculate. Thus I was without doubt that buying a new version of Apple's to fit my new iPad was without question.Other brands don't use as good quality materials and typically tear and wear quickly over the course of a year. With the iterative upgrade cycle driven into the consumer, thats par for the course. If however, you want something that will last as long as you hope the iPad will, don't hesitate to buy one of these.The magnet system is excellent and the case pliable enough to fold properly without creating new creases and folds everywhere, or seemingly delaminating between the layers.Heartily recommended.

Seems a lot of money for what it is but it is a great product.

Whilst expensive the quality of the product is as you’d expect from Apple. It’s important to note that the Smart Cover only offers protection for one side of the iPad mainly the screen itself. I’ve combined the product with a back cover which works well but does make it an expensive case. The magnet is strong but not strong enough to allow you to lift the iPad by the cover.

This was bought for someone as a gift. It seems to be nice and solid. You do need a cover for your iPad that gives you a bit of security. This one is nicely made.

Not a great cover to be honest...attached via magnet to front only and often comes off. Wish I’d bought another cheap cover now. This is an update...Do NOT BUY....my iPad fell out of the cover and smashed the screen and its £285 to repair it! It was less than 8 months old. Very angry with apple this cover is totally unfit for purpose. Had to buy a new iPad.

This cover is good quality and genuine apple but I didn’t realise it really is just one side,one piece of polyurethane with a little magnetic side bit,it has no back at all!I needed protection for actual iPad not just the front!

I ordered an original one from Apple and returned it, because the magnets were discharged, probably because of time. So this one I like even more that the original one from Apple. I am using Ipad for 10 years now every day. Nice price, excellent product. No CONS.

Love the cover and bow it shuts off when closed too. A friend had bought a similar one not apple one same time as me and after couple months there is cracking. This one purchased here by Apple still looks like it did when I bought 6 months ago.When it comes to protecting your tablet and phones is always worth spending extra for cover etc in long run and better protection for your device.
