Spare Parts Wheelbarrows Axle Bracket Set

Old ones rusted fell apart (pictured). These were perfect replacement. As others have stated, I had to eliminate dimples inside axle bore. Rotary deburring tool took 10 seconds each. Repainted with durable paint.Wife is happy she's got her w.B. back she uses daily and I didn't have to fork out $100+ for a new w.b. perfect time to service bearings and tires too. Like new again.

Came fast, seem very sturdy, and fit my Kobalt 7-cubic foot wheelbarrow axle. I only had to grind down a steel bump inside the bracket with a half inch DeWalt conical rotary rasp on my drill (took 5 minutes). I'm going to buy a second pair since this is the only place I could find them.

I installed these on a 9 year old Jackson 2 wheel barrow. The holes ALMOST line up perfectly. I did not have to re-drill the holes but I had to use some persuasion with a hammer. NOT shown in the image is a "peen" present on each axel bracket. I had to use a large punch and remove the peen to allow the axel to pass through the bracket. The axel on the 2 wheel barrow is held in place with large washers and a cotter pin. This was way cheaper than buying a new wheelbarrow at about $180.I recommend this product. I do not recommend the large 8 cuft wheelbarrow because the front of the bucket extends in front of the two handles. When you dump the barrow, the bucket takes the load and ends up bending and cracking the plastic bucket. I had to replace mine with a metal bucket after just a few months. The axle brackets were missing in a wheelbarrow kit I purchased many years ago. These worked just fine except for precise fit. I had to glue dowel each rear original hole in my handles and drill a new hole to match the bracket’s rear hole. Other than that it fit my axle just fine. Thanks!

Saw another reviewer that said he ground off the stop tab and worked on his 2 wheel unit. Worked perfect for me. Thanks to other reviewer.

Worked well for a good price.

I was able to fix my wheelbarrow with this product but the metal was too long, couldn’t get it back on as it was so had to use a hack saw to cut half of the bracket off and then still had to drill a new hole on the wooden handle of the wheelbarrow. Product worked but be mindful you might have to ‘tweak’ it like I did.
