Worked for the most part
The remote was easy to pair, it came with great instructions enclosed and had no issues connecting to the fire stick. The initial setup was easy. However, about a week maybe week and a half later it unpaired and we were unsuccessful at pairing it back to the fire stick. It is sturdy and worked great. For the price it was good. I can’t rule out that it wasn’t user error as this remote was in my toddlers play area and children are rough. It it slightly larger than the original fire remote and a bit slimmer. It takes two triple A batteries that are not included like some of the other replacements.

Great replacement
Works great. Easy to use. Great fit for the TV. Works quick there is no lag between hitting the button and the screen changing. Have not seen it glow in the dark.

Works but feels weak
Functional, easy setup, easy to connect, straight forward use, similar size to original, does NOT always respond from the first button press and HAS TO BE POINTED towards the TV (unlike the original). It feels light and I'm always afraid it slips out of my hand and break!

Same functions as our original fire remote
Seems to be working great! Connected easy. Exactly the same as our last fire remote. I Like the feel of it. Our last remote was smooth and slipped out of our hands. This one has some sort of coating that doesn’t slide in your hand. Highly recommend. Only had it a week so far though so don’t know about its longevity. Fingers crossed!

Good Enough
These are cheap remotes. The OEM Insignia remote was cheap and junky and buttons stopped working eventually. The OEM replacement costs $30; this one costs $7. If I need to buy another cheap and junky remote, I'd rather take a flyer on the $7 one.So far it works just as well as the OEM one. The app shortcut buttons on the bottom of the remote aren't mapped the same as the OEM one (the "H" for "Hulu" takes me to Peacock), but, oh well.
