awesome
This is a great set. Obviously not really used for "cutting" like traditional knives so those who think so really have no business trying to buy such items. Although edgy enough, you won't be chopping veggies for soup with this so don't rate it as being compared to a real metal blade - DUH. These polymer/composite "letter openers" or whatever you want to refer to them as is basically a tool for those who understand how and to what capacity they can be used for. The knuckle/punch slips on comfortably and has enough base to the palm even for larger hands. The tip has a tapered tip for more focused impacts (may puncture). The throwing knife design feels closely modeled to it's metal counterpart in dimension but I wouldn't expect to do movie dramatic hits across the room with it but it still carries a little more weight than I anticipated. The triangular and the boot knife are straight forward as well. All solid enough.Overall, a good set for the price. Hopefully never will be used but on my duty belt as a last resort.

It's plastic...... it's okay, what else could be said.
Its ok. They are kind of like something that you would have ordered out of a comic book when you were a kid, but they do what they are advertised to do.

Great to practice with
These tools are a great price and great to practice real defensive/attacking scenarios. Both knife weapons while they feel sharp will not actually cut skin. - great for practicing how to disarm an attacker, or how to avoid a knife swipe or stab. Just get a sparring partner, cause being in good physical shape is very important if you intend to truly defend yourself in a life or death situation. You need to be able to run if necessesary. What if there's five of them, all drunk, and they WILL chase for you for a block or two till they run out of steam or lose interest? Then just run, pride gets you killed eventually. These idiots just ususlly want to beat the crap out of an un suspecting victim - you.The only two things in this set that will help you in a defensive situation are the jabbing tool which is very sturdy( go for the stomach, chest or face if you really feel threatened.-The other tool being the poor man's knuckles, the thing you put your middle finger thru and punch with. That is specifically meant for punching the throat, and you can imagine what it will do. I had one years ago and it was called "an executive ice scraper" and I'll tell you, it didn't scrape ice very well!I hope my review was helpfulCheck out my other reviews on other great tools of self defense.

They are plastic. The one tool here could useful as a windshield ice scraper.Otherwise, these are best considered toys - or halloween costume accessories. These items are completely worthless for purposes of selfโprotection against zombies.

00% made well and thick sharp plastic that will not set off any metal detectors the knuckle ice scdamage if used in self-defense
laid very well I walked into the criminal court today with one of the knives in my boot and made sure there was no metal in my boots and got through like it was nothing I said I'll put it on my boxers and taking my belt off and walk through this is the perfect thing to get through any night club or played with a metal detector and you want to be harmedI only use the court thing as the test I told the guard what I was doing and he was curious I want to see me walk right through and shook his head I was like wow the things people make he said will never be able to protect anybodyPS I am a bounty hunter naughty criminal just didn't want it to look bad that I've smuggled into court that's why I wanted to make sure that the guard knew but they are great a products made very well very thick and they will not break very easily like the other cheap ones that are sold online I highly recommend this whole package

Very sharp and good for self defense but don't expect to cut much.
The material is very sturdy, and the non-metallic weapons are definitely deadly; however, although the edges may seem sharp, they don't cut. You won't be able to cut much with these guys...I couldn't even open a package I got. Make no mistake though, if you want some sort of weapon for self-defense that won't set off a metal detector than look no further than the three pointed ones in the middle of the picture.

Very cool, and very strong.
Very cool little last-ditch weapons. I carry these when I absolutely have to go somewhere with a strict no-weapons rule and one of those ridiculous metal detector wands. I'm a stern supporter of the 2nd amendment and carry as much as possible, legally of course, but I also love music, and most concerts these days have pretty stiff security. These conceal rather well and don't set off the privacy invasion stick, so it's nice to have one or two pieces on hand for the walk back to the car in the dark, and for the off chance that some jackwad decides to play drunken drug addled god of pain at the show. I tend to prefer the small serrated "letter opener" and the "ice scraper" because of their diminutive nature and flat profiles, but the other pieces are very nice, too. A concealable sheath would be nice.
