1865O Battery Holder Li-ion Battery with Dual Compartment Support Micro USB 5V/3A 3V/1A V8 Battery Shield

This battery shield is great, It has USB + 5v + 3v- Outputs and all 3 work at the same time if you solder the wires. I am very happy with this 18650 power shield.

Using the dual 18650 shield with a 12v boost converter to power a boat light. With the diymore version of this I have to turn on the shield then connect the light, otherwise the shield shuts down immediately, presumably due to overcurrent. With this shield I can leave the light connected and just turn on the shield, it's able to power the same boost converter with the same batteries and the same light.

Handles any of my portable power needs thus far.

Took care to avoid battery polarity issue. Unit was powering a hobby gateway from 5v USB output, drawing approximately 0.53A. Should be a walk-in-the-park.....Worked fine for 10 weeks - then DEAD! No lights. no charge indicator.Pulled out the battery cells and verified that they were good - 50+ percent charge remaining when the unit failed. Batteries function normally - so obviously the unit simply failed. Very disappointing, and obviously outside the 30 day return window.Seek a different solution!

First one was DOA. Definitely works but pcb and complement placement are questionable - ok for hobbyist stuff, not recommended for important applications.

Perfect battery holder for remote electronics projects, can output both 3.3 and 5 volt power, as needed. Can also accept external charging. Dual 18650 batteries provide better amperage than a single battery.

Aside from lack of reverse polarity protection this is a very useful ups board. Be very mindful. I wasn't being. Thankfully these boards are a little resilient and forgiving for about .25 of a second.
