As a kid, I hated roller coasters. They always made my stomach so sick that I couldn't understand how people actually enjoyed the sensation. Dramamine knocks me out, Bonine makes me lethargic, and the wristbands do very little for me. In October, I went to Disneyland with friends who enjoy roller coasters. I didn't want to wuss out and sit on the sidelines while they had all the fun. I thought I would give these a try after reading many positive reviews on various Disney blogs and message boards. Originally, I also wore the wristbands for double insurance. I cannot tell you how amazing it was to go on the rollercoasters and not be bothered at all by the motion! I rode every single roller coaster that was open, and I loved them all. I'm not talking about just having a good time, but I actually understand now why people enjoy writing roller coasters. When you're not concerned about your stomach, roller coasters are freaking amazing!The second and third day that we were there, I didn't bother with the wristbands, mainly because they got lost in the bottom of my bag. It turns out there was no difference. The patch did the job all by itself.There was one class of ride that I could not handle, even with the patch: the circular spinning rides. Roller coasters switch up the direction, sometimes throwing you to the left, sometimes to the right, and it helps to reset your equilibrium. But the ones that just spin in the same direction over and over or a totally different beast. I tried one of those, and it was miserable. I had to focus on the seat in front of me, control my breathing, and suffered through it until the ride came to a stop. Afterwards, I drunkenly stumbled off the ride and had to wait a good 3 minutes before I could walk again. So, it's not perfect for all types of rides, but it gave me a whole new appreciation for roller coasters. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is now one of my favorite rides, and I was even able to take my hands off of the grab bar and write it like an adult. LOLI had a couple of concerns, but they did not cause me any problems. First, I have very sensitive skin, and adhesive bandages often cause me to break out or get raised welts. These did not cause me any problem at all behind my ear. In fact, I often forgot I was wearing it at all. Second, I'm allergic to cinnamon, and one of the ingredients in this is cinnamon derived. I suffered no ill effects from it, despite the rather pungent aroma that the patches have. Either there isn't enough cinnamon in it to trigger my allergy, or the active ingredient that I'm allergic to wasn't present in the patch. I used 6 of these over a 3 day period, and I didn't have any problems. Just make sure that you follow the instructions and put it on about half an hour before you need to use it. I switched mine out halfway through the day, and except for the spinning ride, I had no motion sickness the entire trip.I absolutely, highly recommend these patches. I don't know how they work, but they are amazing!

I bought these for some trips out of the country because I didn’t know what the roads would be like. I’ve struggled with getting car sick on curvy roads and long car trips all my life. Dramamine makes me sleepy, even the non-drowsy version. I liked hylands motion sickness tablets but would often forget to take them going back home from a trip. I tried the wrist bands but the are a little uncomfortable since they are tight on your wrists and bulky.I used these patches behind my ears for 10 hour car rides in Nepal on unpaved roads that felt like the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland during my 2 week trip there and they saved my life from car sickness nausea!!! I wore the patches behind my ears and it was so nice to be able to stick them on and forget about needing to take a pill every 4 hours to manage car sickness. You just put them on and forget about it and get to enjoy your day and ride without trying to not vomit.The patches say you can wear them for 1-3 days and I did wear them for up to 3 days and they still worked great! I love that you get so many in a box! I was able to share them with friends on my trip and this little box saved us all.One friend that tried them on hated the smell and ripped them off. I didn’t feel bothered by the smell at all and hardly noticed it after wearing it.My friend ordered prescription patches from her doctor which are not natural and the side effects were scary and she didn’t want to use them. One of the side effects said it could cause blurry vision from her prescribed patches. She didn’t end up using them and I shared these with her.I went in blindly buying these patches not sure if they would work but they definitely work and now I won’t be without them! I have been showing them to all of my friends. If you get car sick, try these!

I got these for my cruise in the arctic ocean/ Norwegian Sea where it may be rough water, but it worked pretty well. We were lucky and the water wasn't too rough, but I get motion sick very easily and felt pretty good for the whole 14 days at sea. I would change out the sticker every other day give or take and the smell would last a while and just smelt kind of herbal.

These affordable, portable, and easy to use motion sickness patches were so helpful on our last cruise!

I have oily skin and I end up with raccoon eyes when wearing mascara. This one stays put and doesn’t run. Will purchase again!

I bought this product based on reviews and was not disappointed. I applied the patch when we boarded our cruise ship to acclimatize as we were crossing the Pacific Ocean. While the ocean was choppy the first 3 days, I never experienced a hint of seasickness and I liked the fact that I didn't have any drowsiness. I highly recommend this product.

These patches are fantastic. I use them a lot as I spend a lot of time on the ocean taking photos. Before I found these it was hard to manage motion sickness looking through a viewfinder on a rolling sea. I also used them on a trip to Antartica across the Southern Ocean with no sea sickness at all. No side effects like drowsiness etc. Highly recommended.
