Good quality cable, works as expected with tough, rugged sleeving!
This fully maxed out the limits of my Gigabit Ethernet system, easily staying at about 112MB/s while both copying large files to and from my server without any issues. The cable had a little bit of a smell out of the bag, the vinyl or whatever it is made of, that took a few hours to die off, but it is indeed very rugged and tough, not cheap plastic, and easily bends, twists, and holds without any sign of stressing. It also sends power from my PoE network switch to my remote security camera without issues, I've had no reboots, lost data or failures. After constant use by my security monitoring camera over several days without issue, I am happy with how this has performed. It is always wise to get the best cables you can, since there's no point in expensive equipment if it is just let down by a cheap shoddy cable, and this seems among the nicer I have owned, so I'm quite pleased with it.

Outdoor Cat 7 cable
Excellent Ethernet cable. I ordered this with the intention of using it outside to power a camera on the far side of the house. Cat 7 cables are meant to be used outdoors, since they're thicker and more robust than the typical Cat 5e or such that are generally included with modems and routers. Just as described, the cable works well with the camera, and data transfer & video quality is great. The cable is easy to place with staples or hooks, and it is around 50 feet in length, which is suitable for my needs. Since it still has the standard Ethernet connectors and bot ends, you could also use it for indoor devices too, like running one from the modem to a computer, but it really would be wasted as it is meant to be outside in the sun, rain, snow, or be buried altogether and left to work silently. I haven't had any issues with it, and I don't expect to for many years, as it's a simple Ethernet cable. No bells or whistles, nothing else that's fancy on this.

Solid at 1Gbps
I tested the 60 foot Cat 7 cable in this review for 1Ghz speeds.I can appreciate the shielded ends. Cable itself is not very robust. It's almost too flexible, leaving me to wonder how it would hold up to abuse. If you are going to use it in a permanent install away from foot traffic or constant bending, this cable should last. My other thought about durability is in the male of the cable itself- oxidation, etc. Most cables I test and use have a thick outer coating. This one does not. It doesn't affect the speed, but it does assist greatly in protecting the twisted pairs inside from air, humidity, chemicals, etc. Only time will tell if the cable is worthy. So far, it is.1Gbps speeds are super solid- not a single ripple or packet lost during tests. File transfers to and from a server at 112MBps (that is, bytes not bits) was rock solid. Havent tested at 2Gbps or above yet.One star removed for the thin protective coating, as I'm not convinced it would hold up to any kind of prolonged abuse compared to others on the market. If you need a fast ethernet cable (not PoE) for a permanent install inside a fairly controlled temperature, humidity and chemical environment this should work fine.

Cable gets the job done.
A standard AWG 24 CAT7 cable with polyvinyl sheathing. The conductor size, especially relative to the length of the cable is well within spec to exceed data transfer. PVC sheathing should hold up well to UV exposure if used outside. The sheathing is not particularly thick or rigid, allowing the cable to bend, but could be a problem if excessively twisting our routing through tight turns.I just plan on using this indoors on occasion to plug into a switch in a different room.Nothing too fancy here. The cable is what you'd expect.

Good quality CAT Cable!
Pretty much what you want from Category cable. CAT 7 so speeds should be very reliable and from how I tested the cable I am not disappointed. I ran this cable from one room in my house to another room through the attic. Easy to pull and the extra thick shielding definitely helped to keep the cable in good condition. Anyone would be happy with this!
