Really good sound (remember to set phone EQ to neutral)
This gives really good sound on both my HiFi and over-ear headphones. I'm not a serious "audiophile", but I have tested a number of these devices, using classical music recordings and this one is impressive, both for clarity and low noise (hiss).I originally was unimpressed, but I realised that my phone was doing all sorts of EQ ("Dolby Atmos") etc designed to work-around the flaws in typical cheap earbuds with background noise, and when I killed off the excess bass-boost etc, and put it back to "neutral", I was much more impressed.

Failure after 2 months, used once a week or so on phone
Basic use with a MacBook and my phone around once a week on the phone, 5 days week on the Mac.Item would get very hot playing hi res files in the format that is supported. After 2 months the braiding came completely off the 3.5mm headphone side. Likely due to heat.After this the adapter/DAC would only play audio to the left headphone. I tried multiple pairs of headphones, same problem.Also tried it on the native headphone jack on the Mac and my headphones worked fine. My recommendation is don't waste your money and spend a bit more to get one that will last longer than two months.Amazon support were very good over the phone so if you have issues please contact them, as an item like this should not be promoted.

Great product but not quite suitable for me (i want to record audio into my phone)
Not suitable for audio in to a samsung s21 as does not recognise it. However can play audio on headphones etc still so although the phone does not recognise it well it kind of does as lets you play audio out of the phone (headphones worked ok). Shame as i like UGREEN and the quality of there products. Anyone looking to put audio in to a samsung galaxy s21 will need the official/genuine samsung usb-c to 3.5 jack adaptor which i brought direct from samsung for £10 with free delivery in the uk. This will allow you to take audio out and put audio in to your phone. I needed for use with 'pro video' to record live dj sets with best quality audio. UGREEN don't work but SAMSUNG Works fine. As i said UGREEN are a great brand just this adaptor don't do what i needed it to.

Makes my wired headphones work on the iPhone
I can connect my wired headphones to my USB C (best innovation) iPhone. The cable contains a DAC which handles Apple’s lossless music format. It also works with headsets. If you have good wired headphones and a new iPhone 15… this worth a buy. I am very happy.

Amazing sound quality for the money
Very pleased with the item. Sound quality way closer to my much-much-much more expensive desktop amp than I expected. Makes a very nice portable option for my headphones. Thank you uGreen.

Another good quality product from UGREEN
Some products are hit and miss from this brand, but this one hits the spot. Used with about 5 different headsets so far, including a Jabra Evolve 40 (a computer headset, really), and no complaints.
