Highly capable with a number of inputs!
This is a really nice CD player. It also plays cassettes (yeah, those!), regular audio CDs, MP3 CDs (but not MP3 DVDs), and best of all, it has an USB input and takes literally any memory dongleIt also has a 3.5 mm jack for input (really lo-tech) to connect audio sources, and also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. For the price, it is really packed with features. For mature adults who are not really tech-savvy, this is easy to use for listening to music, like the old days!

Not a Bad Deal, but.....
For a $65 dollar electronic unit that has all of the features that this has, not a bad deal. So far, everything works. However, the radio tuner is not very precise in turning the knob as well as defining/finding radio stations. I have a 1988 Aiwa boom box and its tuner was and still is, much more precise. Before purchasing this a few weeks ago, I read through quite a few reviews of other name brand units on Amazon and this Toshiba seemed to be a better deal. So far, it has mostly proven true. UPDATE on November 24, 2015: The motor speed and the quality of the heads on the cassette portion is not precise either. When playing back quality blank cassettes like TDK or Maxell with my recorded music on them, the sound of the recording often times is off key. The "wow & flutter" rating is probably below average for this device. That less than quality tuner/antenna will also not let me tune in a station that I used to be able to receive with that old 1988 Aiwa box. Same nightstand, same location in the bedroom. CD Player and USB drive still operating ok. Will keep you posted.

best go to a store and spare time wasting aggravation ...
This is a toy! Absolute Craparoo! DISGRACE TO TOSHIBA NAME and AMAZON for claiming was a $149.00 retail item. Sound is same as a $10.00 child's radio. A SCAM-RIPOFF! If you can't trust TOSHIBA and AMAZON is corrupted, best go to a store and spare time wasting aggravationNOT WORTHY OF EVEN 1 STAR, but they force that on you too.

Nice to still have a cassette-based stereo available.
Like the design and straight forward ease of use.
