good tape
I am a building inspector and take numerous measurements during each inspection, especially restrooms. I start with the item that will have the shortest measurement and work thru the larger measurements. Al I do is keep pulling the tape our until I am finished, convenient. Recommend this tape measure.

Doesn’t hold up to professional use
The media could not be loaded. I’m a carpenter and handyman who’s been searching for an auto-lock tape measure that holds up to professional use. Unfortunately this isn’t it.The good: Easy to read numbers (mostly, see below), high contrast and double sided, fairly lightweightThe bad: The first ~3/8” is really obscured by the end attachment. Most tapes have this issue but it seems particularly bad here. And…the auto locking feature has failed after only a few weeks. See the video.Unfortunately this has become a paperweight for me, since I work alone and really depend on the auto locking feature.

A fabricators best friend.
A friend who runs a fab shop suggested I try one of these tapes. For years I've used Stanley tapes, but missed having an auto lock. Recently I had to layout and cut a large amount of aluminum sheet so I ordered one to try. I was sold after the first sheet was done. The lock is of course great, but it's the large font and high contrast I really came to appreciate. I liked it enough I bought two more and I've started to give them away as gifts. A good tape measure is worth its weight in gold to a craftsman.

Very nice tape for cabinetry.
Small, lightweight, one of the few 16' 1'' wide blades. Double sided 2 tongue is a nice feature. I wish it had a wrap around rubber encasement instead of the over molded one. Tape cracked right in the middle on the 12'' mark right in the center of the tape. after a few months of use still usable but doesn't give me confidence in its longevity. It's a 6-9$ tape so it's expected.

Great tape!
I like the tape so much, I don't use my regular tapes anymore. Like the high visibility of this tape also, markings on both sides, and so far it's been very durable. Positive lock for all five that I have.On a side note, I've been using Klein tapes for years and really like them. I'm not sure about the brand new ones, but all I have are made by this company for Klein. I'm sure of it

Giving up my fat max
I really like this tape measure. The auto lock holds tight, unlike the fat max. I’ve been going through one fat max tape measure about every three weeks. I’m a trim carpenter. It’s been two weeks and this tape still looks new. My fat max tapes would either get a nick in them which would eventually completely break or the tip would start Turing over on it self( would start to twist). When they twist like that they become useless. This might be my new tape measure at $12 a piece!

Great around the house.
Such a nice tape for household use. I wouldn't take this to a heavy workload job site, the mechanism for self locking is surely something that will begin to fail if this tape is abused too much. But for around the house Reno's and home maintenance it's fantastic. Very legible numbering and lines. Measures on the back side are sure neat but it's actually pretty rare that they're useful.Overall a nice handy tape. Live the self locking but don't trust it'll last long.

Smooth action
Very good tape measure. The auto-lock feature works well. Easy to read numbers. Overall an excellent tape measure.

Self locking, double sided
I use this at work, I really like the double tabs at the end, and numbers on both top and bottom. Makes it easier to measure underneath a truck body on the hoist. Large numbers are easy to read. The last one I had lasted about a year, which is about twice as long as previous tape measures.
