Easy to set up with my existing EUFY system. The video quality is very good as is the AI tracking. I always thought these solar charging units were a gimmick and would slightly slow the drain, but mine keeps it fully charged. So overall, I'm very happy with it and should have bought another when the price dropped on Prime Day.

Out performs Ring and Blink due to no subscription needed and has built in storage that lasts for months without needing to format. Optional to buy home-base for additional storage and better AI detection. Easy to access via app to adjust camera settings and download footage. App and camera operate smoothly without glitch or hesitation. Good quality build and solar panel works well to the point it has never dropped past 70% even during constant motion detection throughout the day. Automatically connects to WiFi without needing to touch the camera if you are one to turn off your WiFi periodically. Motion detections works well but might need an additional camera to motion detect distances exceeding 25 feet from this device. Motion detection has not failed. AI tracking works phenomenal. Are able to manually rotate camera via app which works well without delay. Clarity/zoom and night vision is superior to Would purchase several of these specific cameras throughout house and property with home-base for superior protection over any other competitive brand out there.

To me, this is a very nice security camera. I've bought four of them now, two for me and two for my dad, and they have all worked perfectly.The solar power and panel is perfectly matched with the battery and camera so that I've never had to recharge them. You obviously have to mount them well considering the sun, but I've never dipped below 90% in the winter or cloudy weather.The quality is great with the live feed and playback. Pairing it with the Home Base isn't necessary but it does add more storage options and AI learning, which to be is just a gimmick at this time. My cameras are connected to the Home base and seem to function at the same level as my dad's cameras which have no Base.The pivoting head is great but has very little movement upward, so you either need to mount it really high up or mount it at an angle because it can pivot down just fine.If you need a truly plug and play, wireless security camera and have a decent WiFi connection you cannot go wrong with these cameras.I'm uploading some screenshots so you can see for yourself how long one of my cameras has been in use and that it's never had to be charged.

1-6-25Been using two of the Eufy solocam S340 for a few weeks now. I’m very pleased with them! The solar panel does a great job of keeping the batteries topped off! I love the clarity and the function that follows movement. They were a snap to install. I wish Eufy would come out with a replacement battery when the time comes that the battery starts to degrade. I’ve set the cameras on opposite corners of the house, one in the front of the house and one in the back of the house. The way I have them set up I can see the primary area I want to watch plus it can see down each side of my house so I have essentially 360° visual coverage. The AI has been working amazingly well! It recognizes me, other people, pets and vehicles. I have both of the cameras connected to the Homebase 3. The night vision is fantastic without any light whatsoever. I will be installing a motion activated solar floodlight so if something/someone is outside I can see them without having to look through the feed on my phone. Again the interface is a little clunky but workable. I would like to have the option that when I view through the cameras it records automatically and if I don’t want the recording I can delete it. It would also be helpful to be able to see the battery percentage. I understand Eufy is coming up with a new interface app which should have some improvements or extra features. Overall I’m thrilled with these! I highly recommend these! Thanks, Eufy!Good image quality and looks like it’s well built. The app to access the camera is clunky and not intuitive but after a while you can mostly find your way around. Needs better setup instructions. I have two of these. One recognized the solar panel (after several tries) the other one wouldn’t. Tech support is fast and polite but not very helpful and I had to use email to contact support. I finally was able to get it working by doing a reset. Eufy did offer to replace the whole unit but it seems to be working now. I will install it and watch it for the next couple of weeks.
