My son had the little booklets that had come with all of our tile sets. We have a baby and he got ahold and ripped them up. My toddler was devastated. So we bought this so he has a “peices book” as he calls it. He loves to look at the images and build the things he sees. I love seeing his creativity thrive. Great purchase. Money well spent. Will provide hours of play. Picasso tiles have lasted through many toddler tantrums and I feel safe with them. I also use a drip pan from the auto store to store them easily!

Enough tiles to create good size structures. Hours of enjoyment. Bought for a Five year old.

This has been a great addition to our collection! My kids were thrilled over the ideas book that is loaded with fun building ideas for them. The pieces this set came with are very unique and fun to add to any collection. I find these tiles to be top quality, our favorite maker! They are made so well and are high quality. I couldn’t build any of the stuff from the book! Otherwise good quality, just not enough quantity.

These are more of the same quality and standard we have come to expect from PicassoTiles (strong magnets and good quality plastic). These were a great addition to our existing set and adds some new windows and shape options for their build. I cannot recommend magnetic blocks enough since this open-ended toy is so versatile and has provided hours and hours of play no matter what the age is.

The idea book package is a double edge sword. I’m always annoyed that my kid is like, I don’t know what to build, give me some ideas! So it’s great in that respect where they can page through and pick out something to model.However… then they also find some ridiculously over complicated design that we’re always undoubtedly missing some specific pieces for.So buyer beware, this may reduce or add to your frustration level with magnatiles.

Picasso Tiles are quality items--the pieces have strong magnets and are well made. We like the shapes, colors, and infinite possibilities if you have a large inventory of pieces. The descriptions are clear about what is included in the individual sets.Looking at the set we selected, there are a few things that should be noted. There are 20 magnetic tiles of different shapes in the set--all high quality, but the number does limit you on what can be made. I would call this a good starting set. The "Idea Book" is really fun to browse through, but at least half is a catalog of Picasso Tiles sets. We will enjoy the book, but keep in mind the power of this marketing strategy. Picasso Tiles are great building toys that kids should have access to in some form or other, but probably you should shop carefully for the particular set you want.
