These are a lovely soap and extremely difficult to find. They are soft and are used up rather quickly compared to a harder grocery soap. They leave absolutely nothing on your skin and are scentless. Can be used on every part of your body without irritation. They will not strip oils off, so not useful in the kitchen or for removing creams. I much prefer these to their specialty, scented types.I love these soaps and the fact that I can get a large quantity at a time, given the difficulty in finding them and the expensive (I think) price in buying a couple at a time. Except for cleaning my hands, I use nothing other than these.

I was very happy to find these soaps on Amazon at a reasonable price for 12. I used the soaps to bathe my children from birth, and have now bought them for my husband who has really bad psoriasis. Some reviewers state the scent is like a man's cologne but to me, it smells wonderful. My babies used to smell so clean and sweet with the use of Pears soap.

I like the shape, the fragrance, the feel and the sudsing with rain water (cistern) for showering. Also there’s no waste as the small almost used up bar melds into the larger new bar as designed!

This Pears soap is a very nice soap. No, it is not the original but I do not think it claims to be. The scent is different, more spicy. But it is non drying, no residue, and cleans even the heaviest makeup fully off your face. For me it is a win all around. Glad I am using it again after so many years of other soaps.

The soap works well as a glycerin soap, lathers reasonably well and gets you feeling clean but it does have a vaguely medicine-type odor which is a bit off-putting but doesn't linger after your shower. The blue version of this soap doesn't have the same odor.

This product has been around for a very long time. I use it in the shower and to wash my face. It is so gentle and has a very unique scent that smells clean. I highly recommend it especially for delicate skin. I will be using it for many years to come.

This is definitely the number one soap I discovered after years and years of searching. Here is why:1) First of all, there are no any strong perfumes or sense with this soap, which I highly appreciate. The scent with this soap is so mild and after you use it it does not linger forever on your skin.2) I primarily use it for my face, as I have extremely oily skin and this soap helps me to reduce the oils without over-drying my face.3) One bar can go extremely long way, and this is the best value and quality I discovered for the price. And I tested a lot of soaps. I've been buying Pears soap for a few years at least, and I always buy in bulk.If you're looking for extremely affordable, low scent, safe to use soaps, that are not harsh on your skin, this is the one for you. 10 stars from me.
