Effective and and do what is claimed
I love music and in particular live performances. I go to a lot of live gigs and I have found that recently my mild tinnitus was being aggravated by the sound levels. My concern with using earplugs was that the quality of sound would be affected, but the Eargasm earplugs work way better than I was expecting. When you get them inserted properly, the sound level is reduced, but not so much that the experience is spoiled. I would say that there is a very slight drop off in high frequencies, but it is very minimal and I could only pick it out when it repeatedly took the earplugs out and put them back in again during a performance. The other issue I had with my tinnitus was that where the sound of the band included a lot of higher frequencies, I used to get sort of treble buzz. I was amazed to find that wearing these earplugs stopped about 95% of it and the music still sounds great, just a bit quieter.Even if you don't have tinnitus, I would still recommend these earplugs as you really do want to protect your hearing. The earplugs of course have to fit snugly in your ear canal and there is a bit of knack to it. Once you work it out it is straight forward. I made the mistake of putting them in the same way that it put in earbud earphones. With these earplugs, you have to make sure you insert them a bit further in to get the full effect.I would recommend playing some music at home and experiment with putting the earplugs in until you notice the sound level reducing the most. If you don't put them in properly, the sound is not reduced fully. past a certain point, the sound level stays the same. So once you find that point, you can remember what it feels like when use them for real. They also come with a useful container to carry them around in which is useful when going to gigs. The only other thing you need to do is remember to take them with you!I definitely recommend these earplugs

Excellent!
There are two size options to suit your ears, you just change the filter to the size that fits best. They are very comfortable, have a convenient little tag to help remove them from your ear. I practice drums on an acoustic kit in a small bedroom, it’s fair to say it would leave my ears ringing ! I bought these plugs, the ringing is no longer an issue , they reduce the noise to a nice safe, bearable level. Equally, when I wear ear phones over the top of them to follow a song, they allow me to hear the music without distorting it or making it dull . Fantastic value for money Imo

Great for loud gigs
Amazing sound quality without any of the post concert ear ringing. Definitely worth the purchase. Most likely has saved me from future hearing loss.

Good if your ears aren't full of wax
Good product but thy keep slipping out my ears after I've put the helmet on. They take 3 mins before they slide. Work well if you use them uncovered 'cause you can push them back in 👍

Not visible like my previous plugs
Liking these a lot for gigging in a rock band. Not visible like my previous plugs. Can hear the detail in the music around me. Comfy too.

Comfortable and effective
Comfortable and effective, needed a little breaking in at first, but they are now malleable and soft. Also great because they are not nearly as conspicuous as other earplugs which have the whole end sticking out.

Great little plugs
Great little plugs, I'm a drummer and they work really well. They drop the volume but keep the quality of sound quite well.

Great sound but poor proection at metal gigs
Metalhead perspective here. These are fine at your larger venues or festivals. They worked well at Knocked Loose in Manchester at a bigger venue. Unfortunately, while they sound great, I left Pig Destroyer in Sheffield (Corp) & Better Lovers in Nottingham (Rescue Rooms) with ringing ears. They sound great, but the protection is inadequate for metal bands in smaller venues.I will be reverting back to my Alpine PartyPlugs which sadly do not offer the same level of audio fidelity but do a better job of protecting my ears. I saw Decapitated in Birmingham (Asylum) wearing those and left with zero tinnitus whatsoever. For most customers these earplugs will probably be fine, but if you're seeing metal bands in 500 cap venues, these won't cut it.
