This is a thin smooth cotton round. Soft. Small. Acceptable. It lacks a rough exfoliating side but also doesn’t leave behind pieces of cotton on your face. Because it’s thin, it doesn’t absorb a lot of product (toner or whatever you use). That reduces waste of product just left in the cotton pad. Cost savings!

This should be fine on your face but for me a little rough around the eyes. They might work fine if you didn't wear waterproof eye makeup and have to rub around the eye area . They do hold together well and do not pull apart.
