A toughie of a ruckie
I am very pleased with this, as it meets most of my needs - I wanted 35l capacity, with something which did not look too military camouflage. It is for around town work related needs. I didn't want to be spending a lot of money on some kind of 'branding to die for' puffery. I did want sturdiness, zips that look as if they will hold up, and, most importantly a sternum and a waist strap, both essential for back health with any kind of weight to be hefted. It's a harder ask (all these requirements) than one might think. Serious hiking backpacks think hard about the ergonomics, but tend to be larger and may even have modifications to back padding which I don't need, and cost substantially more. Most ruckies of this sort of capacity which are for city use tend to be made of thinner material, and crucially lack one or other or even both those additional body support strappingMy only reason for dropping one star is that I don't need quite so many pockets, and would have preferred a slightly roomier main compartment. That main compartment opens out flat, whereas I would liked something which didn't open quite so extremely, for what I will be stuffing into it. Empty, it is a little heavier than the normal 35l round town sort of back pack but there is no doubt this is built to survive tougher asks than treks across town on public transport!

Not fit for purpose
Do not buy. This zips on this product are weak and not fit for purpose. The first week i had the bag the zip handle fell off. I didn't contact the seller at this point as the zip was still usable, although clearly rubbish. Then, only 2 months into using the bag, the zip broke completely. When I contacted the seller they told me it was out of the guarantee period so would not issue me with a refund, but £5 towards a repair.I explained that the product is clearly defective and wanted a refund but they refused. £5 is clearly not going to cover the bill to fix the zip, nor will it cover my time to do so.Over all, this product is not fit for purpose and defective. Do not buy this product!
