Enjoyable game.
Bought this for a present but got to play it. Fantastic game. Thought we would lose (50’s against the 20 year olds ) but we surprisingly won. Music from all eras and some great reminiscing.

Brilliant even for game sceptics
Fantastic family game. I've found it nearly impossible to find something that my family are willing to play but this kept us up on Christmas day night for hours. Great size and the songs provided just the right amount of challenge, with the wide range of eras working especially well where you have players/teams from different generations. App works well and game mechanics are solid. Strong recommend.

Fun for all the family, tech side could be improved
Bought this for my family and they are obsessed! The QR codes don't always load seamlessly though.

So much fun!
We've been playing Hitster with our friends and their children, and have found it to be brilliant. We've also discovered lots of music and artists that we had no idea even existed. Not all of it great! I'm very good with 20th century music but modern stuff seems to be completely alien to me, ha ha! The kids, however, are great with 'new' (as in post 2000) music. It's actually really interesting to discover each other's musical knowledge.We have a big family get-together soon, with a broader range of ages, so we're planning to take this game along, especially as everyone is very into music. Should be lots of fun! And that's something else I really like about Hitster - that it can be played with a large group of people, and not the usual 4-player scenario.The game mechanic itself is very simple; download the free Hitster app to your phone, scan the QR code on the card to listen to part of a track, then decide where on your musical timeline it fits. Your opponents can challenge you in order to win points.By the way, you don't need to have Spotify (free or paid) to play this. Our friends don't have it but Hitster worked perfectly well without it.

Great Game. A real Hit!
A great game. A bit harder than just guessing songs and artists. Fits all age groups. You need WiFi and Spotify app to play it, but can play as Spotify guest. Very pleased we got it, it’s really good fun.
