Real Feel Country Club Elite Golf Mat
I have found the Real Feel Golf Mat to be of excellent quality, much better than driving range mats which are largely underlayment (rubber or synthetic material) with about 1/2 inch of turf that becomes flattened in the area where the person stands after a period of time. I have used this mat daily over the last few months and have seen no evidence of a "flattening" effect. Excellent product!Of all the products that I have researched, the Country Club Elite reported the greatest turf depth. The mat that I purchased has a turf depth of about one inch with a supportive underlayment about one half inch thick. This product is claimed to resemble natural turf in that it allows you to hit down and through the ball, producing a divot-like action. In my hands I have found this to be the case. I have hit fades, hooks and gotten back spin with my wedges. I do not see the club skidding on the surface of the mat with fat shots, providing the illusion that the the ball was well struck. Unlike most mats at driving ranges, hitting behind the ball on the Real Feel mat results in a misshit shot. In short, I find this mat to be the next best thing to hitting from natural turf.

Fantastic mat
I purchased the 4x4 mat to use with an Izzo Giant net in my back yard. The mat is extremely soft and plush and just like they advertise, you can really hit down on the mat and receive solid feedback. Fat iron shots are exactly that, a fat shot that the mat slows the club head down replicating real grass. If you use the mat on a surface other than a something like a garage floor or driveway, you might want to build a ply wood platform for it. I cut a plywood 4x8 in half and built small 1x2 pressure treated supports to act as floor joists. That way you can set the platform down anywhere in the yard and put the mat on top of it. All in all I'm very pleased with the mat and now have a private driving range in my back yard. A little pricey at $350.00 but well with the cost. It's paid for itself buy saving gas, time and money buy not going to a driving range. Best of all you can hit quality balls of your liking and not beat up range balls.Go get one.

The Real Golf Course Wasn't Open Yet!
The golf mat was ordered at my husband's request because the real golf course wasn't open yet. He had ordered a mat like this a few years ago. That product was of a little lesser quality but it served him adequately through hundreds and hundreds of golf practice shots from driveway into the yard. It was worn out! Placed on the hard surface of the driveway, it was beginning to put some stress on "golf swing" joints! This new mat is much thicker and therefore, with the extra cushioning, puts less stress on arms and wrists! He finds it quite a bit more comfortable. Plus, it probably will last longer than the original! He really likes it - a lot!So he's really happy with this product! Therefore, I am too!Even though the real golf course is now open, the Elite Real Feel Golf Mat will still get plenty of attention from the driveway! Thanks!

True to advertisement
Good feel, no bounce. No green residue on club from mat. Moves a little as I swing, because it is laying on top of carpet in spare bedroom. I think it is worth the extra money. Good to have large enough mat you can stand at same level as ball. May need larger than 4x4 if you are able to hit woods (My ceiling too low for anything longer than 7 iron.

Best golf mat!!!
I bought this for my brother-in law (the type of guy you can't buy for). This is a great mat. Possibly the best mat I have ever hit on. BIL loves it as well. His miss is an occasional fat shot. This mat gives good feedback on fat shots. The cheaper thin mats will allow the club to slide into the ball and give the illusion of good impact. I am going to buy myself one soon (not too soon, the beers are free at his house)

Awesome mat - be wary of the height of the mat itself
I really squeeze PW and 9i swings in my basement. I have a net set up and I use this mat to hit balls. This mat has caused me to scrape the ceiling a few times. The extra inch or so made an impact for me - just something to think about for all of you in a similar position. All in all 10/10 mat - the feel is awesome.

Best golf mat on the market
The Real Feel mats are the only mats that provide a near grass like experience. You can dig into the mat and feel a chunk rather than the club just bounce on other mats. You can drive through the ball. You can tee it up no problem. It's the best mat in the industry. Ultra durable as well.
