A little heavier than I expected but it works as expected and seems effective.

I bought this and did not do a trial run before taking it on a two-month vacation. Big mistake! When I tried out the machine, the buttons would not work properly. I could not choose the mode or the speed. When I could select the manual mode, the water would leak out of the hose--so the machine couldn't wash my clothes. I finally threw away the machine because I was past the return date and didn't want to lug it back home. It is also heavy and can easily put your baggage over the weight limit.

We had a smaller version of one of these that we have used for awhile now and they come in handy when traveling. So, when we saw this one with a few automatic features and a slightly larger capacity, we had to give it a try.This one has some nice features. First, it is easy to hook up. There are provided fittings to hook up to your faucet. There is a water dispensing hose for your faucet. There is also a drain hose included that you drop near the nearest drain. Someone said that hoses were not included. They are all in my package. This runs off 120v power using a plug in transformer. There are several cycles to choose from. There is a manual cycle where you add water yourself in case you do not hook it up to your faucet. There are high, low, and medium settings depending on how much water you want the machine to add when using automated cycles. We always found that the more water you use, the better the clothes come out. There is also a standard and a fast cycle depending on how long you want to wash the clothes.When using this, we run one wash cycle first with soap (not a lot). After it is done, we then run another cycle to rinse the clothes. At the end of the run, this washer will drain the water with the included drain hose.This washer also has another feature which is the spin cycle. Do not expect the machine to spin out as much water as your home washer. It will not do that. Your clothes will be a lot damper than the home machine. But, it is good enough for the campsite. After washing, we hang the clothes on a clothes rack either outdoors or in the shower. If you have one, placing a fan near the clothes helps.When washing, this has a UV light which is supposed to have the disinfecting qualities. I cannot vouch for how well that works, but it is there.The provided instructions are basic and show you how to set up the machine. But, when doing the wash, it lacks a little bit. So, here it is… Put your clothes in. Turn on the power. Choose the wash cycle from the left side of the panel. Manual is for manual fill if you did not connect the machine to a faucet. Standard is standard wash time, fast is shorter. The right side of the panel is where you choose the water fill amount.When done, it automatically drains. When you are ready to spin dry, extend the spin basket and put it in. Put your clothes in the basket, then power on, choose “Spin” from the left side of the panel. Be sure to keep that drain hose near the drain.When done, this whole unit collapses to take less space for easy storage. We found this machine to work well for light shirts, underwear, a few pairs of socks… You get the idea. We don’t put jeans or heavy fabrics in, but you could in a pinch. Do expect the clothes to be quite damp when taken out.This machine and others like it, have saved us a lot of hassle in having to find a laundromat. We just do a few things at a time, whenever it is convenient. Because of the machine, we now pack less clothes for our trips.This is a great little machine that is quite handy to have when traveling.

I can only use it on manual because of my faucets. I have no issue with that; I just use it on manual. My problem is that after a cycle, the machine is off, I try to fill the machine to run another cycle but it drains. Any suggestions?

Check your fittings. None of the included hardware fit my sink or tub or...actually anything in my apartment. Idk why but everything I have is an internal thread, and none of the bits inside this kit worked. I took a run to Home Depot and grabbed one that did work for a few bucks.That said, it works fine. Capacity is (understandably) small, but if you need something washed NOW then this is way better than a trip to the laundromat (we don't have laundry in our unit). We pretty much just use it for baby stuff so it doesn't sit in the hamper getting gross until laundry day, but I've used it for underwear a few times as well. I wouldn't bother trying with anything large or heavy.I put this in the bathtub on a small stand just in case it leaks, but so far that doesn't seem to be necessary.Now the only thing I need is an equivalent size clothes dryer!

The media could not be loaded. I have to say this is an ingenious product. This mini washer has become a life saver for me. I live in a small place with no washer or dryer and my husband works daily and he goes through socks and shirts like crazy... Not having to run to the laundromat every few days to wash one load has been amazing.This washer has an automatic and manual mode that includes agitation and vibration and they are both so good. When the water drains I can see all the dirt it got out of my clothes. The washing machine on automatic mode works exactly like a full size washer, but it cycles through cleaning and draining your clothes three times. Honestly this seems to wash my clothes better than my full size washer used to.The only thing I wish is that the spin dry bucket was larger so I didn't have to wring out the clothes by hand. This washer is so light, so easy to move and such a time saver! When not in use this washer folds away nice and small, so it doesn't take up much room. I absolutely love this washer and I can wash a decent amount of stuff at one time. The washer is decently quiet as well. I could rave about this washer so much. This is a 5 star product for sure.
