I bought this based on reviews, and on the fact that it has ice-pack pockets. I'm now two weeks post-op, (lumpectomy with bilateral reconstruction) and it's been my constant friend since the ride home from the hospital. Having it in the car to cushion the seatbelt is perfect- It's so soft and the pillow conforms to my body, giving an overall sense of security and protection. The ice pockets, particularly on the sides, have been really useful. Honestly, not sure what else to say. It's just been a nice little comfort in trying time.

After having breast reconstruction surgery last week, I quickly realized my first pillow choice (the Zomaple Mastectomy Pillow) was a total letdown — the single back strap broke and constantly slipped down. Poor quality and a waste of money.A few days post-op, I ordered this one — and WOW, what a game changer! The dual arm straps keep it perfectly in place (no more adjusting every five minutes), and it came with thoughtful extras: a hot/cold gel pack and a cushion for the seatbelt — both incredibly helpful during this healing phase.And here’s the kicker: it’s only $9 more than the Zomaple, but the quality and comfort are on a completely different level. Out of the FOUR different mastectomy pillows I’ve purchased in the last 2 years, this is hands down the best one. I wish I found it sooner!If you’re recovering from surgery, don’t waste time or money on subpar options — this is the pillow you want. HIGHLY recommend.

Super soft and comfortable. Great for use after surgery. Love all the pockets and straps. Perfect amount of support without being too firm. Helped me with sleeping on my back as have always been a side sleeper. Not too bulky.

My grandma really appreciated this after her surgery. It held ice and protected the surgical site. It was also nice to have a piece that when under the seatbelt for the drive home.

Great pillow! I only gave it 4 stars because it was a little lose in the shoulder straps. I adjusted the straps as short as they would go and they still slid off my shoulders. I’m 5’3”. However I mostly purchased it to sleep in so I could protect my chest from my cat walking across it in the middle of the night

Bought this for my double mastectomy. I do not know how I would’ve gotten by without it. It provided a cushion between my arms, it hurt to have my arms down at my side. I could tuck my necessities in the front pockets (cell phone, back scratcher, remote lol) and ice packs in the inner pockets. I also felt protected and secured from miner bumps. Unfortunately, there is no checklist for necessary items for a mastectomy. If there was, this would be top of my list.

It's been 4 months since my surgery, and I still use this. Very comfortable and functional.
