Installed and working very well. Pleased I made the move from a gas hob. Much easier to clean and looks great alongside my Neff slide and hide oven. The free pan set is also good quality and is getting plenty of use.

This was our first induction hob and replaced a gas hob. It is so much better than the gas hob, we don’t miss it at all. There is a learning curve, you can burn things initially as full power heats faster than gas. However this hob gives plenty of control with 17 power levels. We opted for the DIY install via the supplied plug and have never felt restricted on power. IF you regularly use 3 or 4 hobs simultaneously you may need a 7kw connection which is optional. You would only really need this if you had 3 or more hobs at full power and for us this is very rare. 2 hobs at full power is just fine on a 13 amp plug. One feature we’ve used a lot is the timers. You can set 5 different timers simultaneously! One for each hob that switches off and a fifth as a general countdown audible alarm. Really useful when you have a lot of things on the go.

This hob was purchased to replace existing hotplate hob which was inefficient and unsightly. The new hob is far easier to use and much more efficient and really looks good giving the kitchen a new lease of life

The fact you can just plug this into a normal 13a socket meant this was easy to fit. It also has a feature which allows you to test your existing pans for compatibility. If they measure as marginal move them to one of the smaller zones and they measure as ok. The induction power is varied by turning on and off. So at top power it’s on constantly whereas at mid lower it’s on and off roughly equally. It took a small amount of getting used to after gas, but I’m now a convert. It definitely boils water quicker and heats the pan base more evenly. It’s also easy to clean though you do find yourself cleaning it more as it does show the dirt.
