Problem solved!
For me these little cat-ears totally eliminate the wind noise from the front helmet strap. I now west my my NHS hearing aids when cycling. I select ‘360 deg spacial’ in the Signia App and I can then hear all the chat - and more importantly, I can hear vehicles as they approach from behind.

They work!
You may look like Elvis but for the first time since getting my digital hearing aids fitted I can now ride and hear others in a group with no wind tunnel effect. I was sceptical but the difference is amazing. Only downside other than looking like Elvis in a cycle helmet is the ribbing you’ll get the first time you turn up with them fitted.

They may make you look like Elvis, but once you are riding
Definitely help reduce wind noise markedly for me. It seems exact position can make quite a difference, and if you go into an aero position with your head down they are less effective (you just can't get them between your ears and the airflow). They may make you look like Elvis, but once you are riding, nobody will notice, and as I suffer from tinnitus (more so after lots of wind noise) I am happy to wear them!

Very expensive
Had I seen these in person beforehand - I would definitely not spend £21.Each one is a small square of fluffy material, with a strip of velcro. I could make these myself at home for about £2. Maybe i'll be proven wrong, and the material is clearly engineered to reduce wind noise - we'll find out - but it certainly doesn't look like anything special.

The other bonus is that you can hear traffic approaching My only reservation is that they do make you look like an Elvis imperso
I suffer with tinnitus and the wind noise is intolerable. These do actually work, even at speed. The other bonus is that you can hear traffic approachingMy only reservation is that they do make you look like an Elvis impersonator with big black sideburns

Quite simply one of the best things ever
Wow! What a difference, if you wear hearing aids like me, get these. Just one of the greatest bike things I have ever bought. Wind noise is bad enough with normal ears, with hearings aids it like holding a microphone outside on a windy day all the time you are moving. With the babies it is quiet again, I can talk to my mates while I ride, I hear cars behind me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Elvis Lives!
They do the job, and helped build confidence for fast downhill riding, but you can't help but balance the benefits against the ridiculous look. Sorry.
