Kids 7 and 9 love it
I read all the Baby-sitter's clubs when I was a little girl and loved them. Strong young women, age-appropriate challenges. Overall super. We now have all the graphic novel versions for our kids, including our nine year old boy who likes them and our seven year old girl. I don't suggest getting only graphic novels for kids - I think there is something to reading a book with sentences arranged in a traditional way - but nonetheless the Baby-Sitters Club graphic novels are well done and have helped to foster a love of reading and books in our home. It has actually resulted in the kids reading the older versions that I have from when I was little. The kids liked that Dawn eats tofu since they also like tofu and they liked to tell their own babysitter about the adventures they read about with Dawn. This one was not illustrated by Raina Telgemeier who illustrated some of the previous ones. The kids like her a lot and have some of her other books and could tell a slight difference with the style of this book, but overall it wasn't a big deal to them. We liked this and it has been really well-read.

Great Pre-Teen Book
My niece is an avid reader and was telling me about what she likes to read. She had been wanting this book but was having difficulty finding it. I was able to get it shipped to her within a few days (I'm a teacher so I will always support children reading). She's already called to tell me about the mystery in the book. I haven't read it, but she loves it so I think it is perfect for 9-12 year olds.

Book Review
{My thoughts} – Dawn ends up taking on a little more then she can handle. She ends up baby-sitting for the Barrett kids and learns it isn’t an easy task. Mrs. Barrett barely talks to her, doesn’t fill her in on important things and becomes hard to reach. On top of all of that the kids become dependent on Dawn instead of their mother. This book touches on what it is like for a child to be kidnapped by their own parent. The steps that need to be taken if something like it should happen. It also shows a happy ending and in many situations that isn’t the case, but it was the outcome in this book.I really do like these books because they touch base on topics that aren’t always talked about in books for children of this age. I like that they are turning them into graphic novels and making them more modern for today’s readers. I look forward to reading the next book in the series soon!

Baby sitters club:by Ann m. Martin
I liked this story. Some people get stolen, even from people they know.😒but I got lost once in target. I was walking with my mom but then I saw big toy animals.🦄🐺🐯then when I was done looking at then I turned back but my mom was gone. So I started looking around for her a little but then I went to someone that works here. I told them how my mom looked. And they sent people to look out for her. But soon we found her. I did get in to a little trouble, but I got out of it.😅but one thing...WHAT DOES BIZZER MEAN?! Every time I see that word I get confused 😐 well that what I got in my mouth 💬I’ll read your books📚sooo...bye bye😊❤️👍🏾
