Works perfectly for connecting my DualShock 4s to my PS3
I have a PS3, but have been using DualShock 4 controllers with it for games due to preference. WITHOUT this adapter, many of the functions of the DS4 are not recognized by the PS3 console such as: Gyro/6-Axis motion controls do not work, PS Home Button does not do anything, cannot use wireless to play PS2 games, as well as unstable connections. This adapter, although a little pricy, fixes all of these issues easily and gives my DS4 controllers all of the additional functionality that was missing. The connection has been perfectly stable, my battery life has on my controller has actually gotten slightly better, and I have been able to enjoy my games to a much fuller extent. Motion controls, vibration in games, and the PS home button perform perfectly and there is basically no input lag. Legacy game support (PS1, PS2, PSP) is flawless as well. This is an excellent little adapter that gives my old PS3 a modern controller advantage. The only negative I have had so far is that you cannot turn the console ON with the controller using this adapter.

Exactly what you’re looking for
Works exactly as advertised with a PS3. No issues with a third-party Xbox controller after months (maybe a year?) of use. The only thing I dislike is the form factor - it’s pretty easy to bend if you, say, plug a controller into the device while it’s plugged into the console. But, as long as you plug in the controller before plugging the device into the console’s USB port, you’re good. Other than that, you just plug it in and go - worth the money for the ease of use alone, in my opinion.

Works amazing on my ps3 FAT with Dualsense controller
As the title says - connect amazingly with my PS5 controller! Paired in couple of seconds and after that it finds the controller right away. Very easy to use, self explanatory. Worth every penny (imagine how much money you save by no buying original controllers!!!). Also, if you want to play around with the controls - you can remap some buttons and do turbo mode (but for that you'll need additional software), so you could say that it is very functional. The blue light is nice and bright - nice touch (shame it doesn't change colors though)

Exactly what I wanted
Had it for almost 9 months now, works excellently It's unfrequently disconnected on its own, but it's rare this will happen. Using it on my PS3 after its controllers developed bad stick drift, as well as my Switch (I play Smash better this way).

Does connect a Dualshock to a PS3, just takes some messing around.
The media could not be loaded. Bought because my PS3 Bluetooth stopped working so I wanted to use a PS4 Dualshock wirelessly on my PS3. Took some messing around but it does fact work. Have to plug in the Dualshock via a USB cable to the Wingman plugged into the PS3, press the PS button and wait for it to register the controller. Once it is registering inputs plugged in this way remove the USB cable from the wingman and press the PS button on the Dualshock to reconnect and it finally worked. Was almost about to return it as it wasn't connecting any other way i tried before this. Wish connecting was laid out a little more clear but it does do the job.

Killzone 2 approved
So a bit of nostalgia came calling and I dusted off my PS3 in order to play a few of my favorite games. The Dualshock 3 I have is pretty worn out, so some of the buttons don't work. Linking a Dualsense via Bluetooth is easy enough. However, it won't work on certain games and the Six Axis is non-existent.After hearing about the Wingman Converters, I jumped at buying one immediately. Plugged it in, pressed the sides to sync with the Dualsense, and tried it on the dreaded, game stopping 'valve' from the 1st level of Killzone 2. Thanks to the Wingman XE2, the Dualsense works as if it was made for the system.

Great, and not so great.
I bought one of these so I could use my PS4 controller with my PS3 console.Pros - Item was packaged well. I was able to pair my PS4 controller easily with it and use it on my PS3 console and the "PS" button works as well as the rumble function in the PS4 controller.Cons - When I plugged it into the USB port on the front of my PS3 console it feels very loose and can be moved from side to side very easily...but as I stated, it works just fine.So I decided to buy a second one so I can use 2 PS4 controllers with my PS3 console when my wife and I want to play co-op. Again, the second device fit very loosely in the USB port, but the PS4 controller paired with it easily. HOWEVER, after only about 5 minutes of playing co-op, one of the PS4 controllers lost connection with this device. I was able to connect again and we continued playing but again after about 5 minutes one of the PS4 controllers lost connection with the device. So in conclusion, the device works really well if you only use one, but fits very loosely in the USB port. If you use 2 of these at once you will lose connection about every 5 minutes.
