Holding the stencil still.
The patterns were not the ones shown on the packet. I tried them with coloured salt and they worked fine as long as you remember to hold the stencil still only by the metal ring. If you hold down the mesh you do not allow the powder room to fall through. If you do not hold the stencil still it moves round in the ring.

No instructions provided, so a bit difficult to use without going to YouTube for how to do it videos. So far we have not managed to achieve any designs.

A really poor quality product, the frames are rusty and bent and the stencils are badly made with drips on them.
