I put some industrial Velcro on the platform to hold my speakers just in case one of the grandkids runs into it. Very sturdy! And they look COOL! Easy to adjust and very solid. Love em.

These stands are built well and look nice. They are very easy to assemble and love that they are adjustable since I need my studio monitors at a precise height. My speakers are the Presonus E8 and sub. They weigh 22lbs each and the stands are very stable. The stands also come with safety pins and carpet spikes if you feel the need.

I was concerned that these inexpensive stands would not be very sturdy, but they are more than adequate for the rated weight range as far as I can tell. Even more importantly, I had a broken collar that precluded the plastic collar between the two pieces of the riser shaft from tightening securely. In fact, I was able to work around it using one of the knurled nuts for the floor spikes, but I contacted customer support, who quickly shipped a replacement stand. For everyday static use, these stands are perfectly adequate. The unusual floor footprint works well behind my desk as well. Due to the use of plastic for the fittings, I would not recommend these for applications where they are being put up and taken down frequently or adjusted frequently. Otherwise, go for it!
