My boyfriend jumps between medium & large so unsure on which size to choose?

Age 12-13 (36") is too small for my 13 year old son - would the adult small (38") fit an average sized 13 year old, or be ridiculously big??

Hi, In my opinion an adult small would be to big for an average size boy of 13 years, how much to big is debatable and he will grow into it. However as a Spurs fan I can recommend a spurs top that will last him for years and he will always be proud to wear it :-)
