Terrific Sheepskin Slipper Boots!
Excellent, excellent, excellent!Ok, ok, I already have a pair of sheepskin slippers from Shepherd which were very expensive and are admittedly wondrous, However, I wear my Shepherd's every single day and have been rapidly becoming concerned I am wearing the same out far too rapidly. Thus, apart from acquiring a second set of very expensive Shepherd's, I needed another pair of sheepskin slippers to take the strain from my current slippers.Looking on the site, I fairly quickly culled the possibilities down to about three, and following no little deliberation, I finally settled on these slippers from Sheepland. My new slippers arrived yesterday, and I have been wearing them ever since! After reading the really useful posts from previous purchasers - especially about the correct size issue - I was a little concerned purchasing a pair just one size up from my usual shoe size. However, I had not need to fret. As soon as I tried these Shetland slippers on my feet, I just knew they were a correct fit. Initially, they are snug as one would expect with anything new, but I would say it took less than two hours for the slippers to become really comfortable. The style is functional and the slippers themselves look great. Lovely colour and my better half informs me, quite stylish!!! The slippers have an elastic loop and button on the rear of the slipper to help keep them in place on the foot, and although not a problem for me, I would imagine anyone with arthritic hands might have a problem with the same? Apart from this minor issue, everything else about these slippers is just great.I suffer greatly with swollen ankles and feet, so it is imperative I have comfortable slippers. My swollen ankles and feet also pose a real problem for most slippers, even in larger sizes, but these slippers from Shetland have really come up trumps for me.Highest recommendation.

Wonderfully warm and comfortable
Although they might seem expensive, these slippers are excellent value for money. They are soft and warm, and really keep your feet warm, even in my flat, which has very cold concrete floors under the carpets. Have been using them non-stop since purchase, as they are so much better than previously bought knitted or fake sheepskin pairs.I forgot to change out of them when nipping outside a couple of times, so decided to wash them in a gentle wool cycle, and then spin them again to help dry them. Some newspaper balled up inside them whilst drying them meant they kept their shape very well, and the stiffness from the process of washing and drying wore off quickly. So they are washable, providing you do it with great care.Thoroughly recommend these, especially if you are prone to chilblains like me. Just don't wear them outside, as they are not designed for this!

Warm and soft.
Bought the choc brown version. Looks great. The only downside was having to wash and dry them before use to remove the excess dye and avoid marks on light carpetsI wear size 10 based on foot length, often I have to buy a size 11 for shoes to fit comfortably in the toe and throat areas. The size 11 boot, indicated to be right for a size 10 foot is a bit long and have a high throat.I'll have to get an insert to pad it up to a comfortable snug level. For the rest, it's a well made boot, real wool - so no hot sweaty/sticky feet. Just warm and soft.

Superb and really comfortable
Based on other reviews and the product description I thought these would be good and I was not disappointed! Exactly as described, made to perfection. I took heed of the other reviews and ordered a size larger and they fit perfectly. There is no question with these of fake wool or any nasty synthetics - the whole boot is sheepskin and it is soft and comfortable. I also like the design of these as you can roll the tops down or have them up snuggling your ankle, depending what you're wearing with them. I was worried that without a sole they would be slippery but they aren't at all - fine to wear on carpet, tiles, wood floors etc. Really good value considering the quality you get - buy these and you won't be disappointed (provided you order a size larger than normal!)

Draftproof!
Had a pair similar sent to me years ago from the US, never looked back since.I live in a fairly drafty old cottage and when the wind blows it cuts you off at the ankles, hence I buy these boot style slippers all the time now.Tried the faux fur cloth type ones but they don't last, this is the second pair of these I have bought, and whilst not cheap they last, probably five times longer, and I live in them.I've always been a believer in you gets what you pay for, sadly that doesn't hold true very often these days, but in this case, yes you do!

Nice slippers - sizes completely wrong.
I ordered a pair in size 5, as it was recommended to get a size bigger than actual shoe size. My wife's shoes size is 4. When they arrived and were tried on they were too small which was a bit suprising. I sent then back and ordered a size 6 thinking the next size could'nt be too small. When the next pair arrived, they were no different to the first pair in how they fitted i.e too small. By now I'd had enough and after sending the second pair back I won't bother with any more as it's too much hassle. We'll go to a shop where you can try them on, and I would recommend that you do the same to save yourselves a lot of wasted time. On the plus side, they were lovely slippers, very well made and very good quality, but someone somewhere where they're made has got the sizing all wrong. Shame, as they were lovely and warm and excellent quality.
