Very useful information guide.

Does what is supposed to.

Very interesting book and well illustrated, it's a great starter for anyone interested in antiques and the history behind them but please note it does not advise on the value of anything. All in all I'm pleased with the book which does fit in a back pocket and is easy to carry around.

Handy pocket size, great for taking with you when looking at antiques. Covers a wide range of silver and pottery marks, as well as glass, costume jewellery and toys. Good quality pictures and history of manufacturers.

A must for all collectors of antiques

Good guide. Informative.

Lots of useful facts and wonderful photos. But what about more generic info? It's nice to know a specific Georgian silver coffee pot made by a specific maker made x amount at an auction a year ago. But more useful would be an indication of the likely amount (a range) that any old Georgian silver coffee pot might be worth? Why, also, is the information about makers marks eg on china, so limited?

Gifted to a son-in-law who was very pleased.
