Colgate Max White Expert Toothbrush & Whitening Pen 5 ml

The whitening pen that comes with is the best product for whitening I've found and I've tried and tested em allllll

Arrived quickly, exactly as expected.

I used this day and night for the 30 days and was very surprised by how well it worked. My teeth gradually became very white and I received compliments on their whiteness. I bought a second toothbrush and gel and this time found my gums became sore and my lips became dry. I think this is only meant for occasional use, so be warned. A fab product for at home tooth whitening, and far cheaper than a dentist.

On the plus side, this works better than anything else I've tried off-the-shelf at this price point and I like the toothbrush. I'm nervous about "bleach" products so the fact that it's from a trusted toothcare brand makes me feel happier that it should be safe and gentle to use. On the downside, the application is messy and difficult - the product comes out as a thick gloopy gel that's close to solid in cool temperatures and seems to get and stick everywhere but on the teeth. It's really hard to even get the applicator clean afterwards as the gel is - for obvious reasons - not immediately soluble in water. But - the instructions tell you not to eat, drink or rinse for a while after application, and I found that although I couldn't get it exactly where I wanted it to go, it does spread over the teeth once warmed inside the mouth. So now I don't worry too much about covering everywhere and just leave it to do its job. So, while it's not particularly pleasant inside the mouth and while we wait for Colgate to improve the formula and application, I don't want to use anything more aggressive, and I've found this is effective for short-term general whitening and elimination of small areas of stained tartar.

The only one works so far. Results can be noticed in a week. Be careful and use toothpaste special for sensitivity during the course. All in all is a great ‘true to claim’ product.

This is not a tooth whitener in the permanent sense. The pen basically coats your teeth and wears off by the evening. It doesn't help your teeth get whiter it's a temporary fix. Ive used colgaye brushes since forever but this toothbrush is the equivalent of a 99p jobby. If you're looking to permanently improve the colour of your teeth this isn't the answer.
