KingLinen 8 Piece Rochelle Pinched Pleat Black Comforter Set Queen

I purchased this set in December 2019 and I literally just opened it June 2020. After reading the reviews again recently, they made me a bit nervous and I realized it was much too late to return it. I noticed a lot of reviewed stating how the pinched pleats came apart, how the color was off, and a bunch of other things. I was never worried about the color. I ordered the plum. It was exactly the color I had been looking for. What I did do was reinforce the comforter a bit... Just a little needle and thread in a few spots and I added my own little touch to it. All pieces were packed as stated. Hopefully that makes it last a little longer. But overall I like the set so far. I don't really plan on sleeping with the comforter as I usually use my comforters for decor as you can see but the set did come plain. I added the bling to match my room. And the size of this comforter was just fine. I have a king and I ordered a king. I saw someone say it didn't fit their bed. I hope this review helps someone.

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THINGThis is a very beautiful set. It comes with 2 throw pillows and 4 full size pillow cases, I only have one shown because I ordered new pillows for the pillow cases and they haven’t come in yet. TIP: the throw pillows will come a little flat, put them in the dryer for a few minutes and they will puff right up. I ordered the queen size for my twin xl dorm bed and it fits perfectly and covers some storage space. I read that the bed set ran small so I thought a queen would be fine and it is perfect. The bed skirt was of course too big but I folded it in the middle at a crease and it fell perfectly over the sides. The set is very pretty but a little thin so it’s best to be very careful with it. It is a great purchase but I think I would better appreciate a little more of a thicker quality. I don’t really go along with people who say “for what I paid... you get what you paid for...” because I feel like anything you spend your money on no matter how much you paid, it should be of value. I would order again and I do recommend you buy this if you are thinking about it.UPDATE ! The pleats have started to unravel and separate leaving flat surfaces where a pinched pleat should be. Not super great quality and over in it’s perfect condition lasted about 2-3 weeks before it started to fall apart. It is still useable but eventually it will just be a flat comforter.

I ordered the Teal in Queen for a queen size bed. It is definitely more of a teal color than what is shown in the picture, and I prefer the actual color over the picture color. It came in a nice packaged bag. Upon opening and inspecting, I found multiple loose threads as well as loose thin plastic-like threads coming out from different sports of the comforter. The threads were all in places where the seam had not been completed or had otherwise come loose. But the plastic-like threads were much longer and I am not sure if they were coming out of the stitching or extra that was not cut off.I decided to keep the bedding because it feels nice and looks very nice, so I washed it prior to putting it on the bed. It was definitely a tight fit in a normal sized washer and I was afraid that the loose threads/open seams might catch on the washer. Dried decently, but the inside padding/cotton bunched up in some areas and completely moved from the corners of the bedding, which is not great. Overall it looks nice and is good for the price. Hopefully it will hold up over time and with continued use and washing.UPDATE: Still in good shape after 2+years. Washed infrequently, so it has not worn down. Definitely areas where cotton is missing bc it has moved around or thinned out. Numerous spots where rouching has come undone. But the color is beautiful, and the material is still soft. Comforter is cool enough for a southern summer and warm enough for a southern winter.

Love this bed set, it looks absolutely beautiful. There are two issues-First, when washing the comforter, the stuffing shifts around and bunches up. So you HAVE to stretch the cotton stuffing afterwards or it will be clumpy and uneven. Also, make sure you wash the pillowcases right side out or else the material inside will start sticking together. And be sure you dry on low heat.Second, the color fades some after washing and in certain light the color looks strange. It has a weird hue to it that almost looks purple instead of light gray.Other than that, the set looks amazing and is incredibly soft and comfortable. A good buy for sure!

I bought/returned 3 comforters before sticking with this one. My husband HAS to use Polyester as a blanket because he is picky and likes the softness and coolness of polyester. And I required the color to be off white/ ivory to match our bedroom setup. That left us with few options for a comforter.The other ones that I ordered were either to thin or to short (they didn’t cover my mattress on the sides)This comforter is the perfect texture, the perfect thickness as it’s not to thick and not to thin, the perfect length as it covers the mattress on both sides, and the perfect price!The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s more of a yellow ivory instead of an off-white ivory that is more common for that color description.

MAKE SURE TO WASH IT BY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TAG!!! I cannot stress that enough. When I first got it it was super nice then I got tired of drying it so it was my fault I got impatient but even not that the inside stuffing if melted it still isn’t bad. It’s just not as fluffy as I wanted it or how it could’ve been if I dried it correctly. Other than that the stitching could have been better SOME of the pleats things did come out but it was because I pulled on them. But everything else is SUPER nice and I love the color it’s a dark purple/ plum. ORDER A SIZE BIGGER than the bed . I read reviews before getting it and I got worried maybe they were wrong but I have a queen sized bed and I ordered a king sized comforter and it’s PERFECT it covers the bed frame which is what I wanted. I didn’t want to see the bed frame box and it also doesn’t touch the floor so get a oversized.
