Night Riding Now A Lot Safer With This Bright Light!
Wanted a bright light for my mountain bike and this seemed to fit the bill, so ordered it and must say very impressed with the brightness, lights up like a car headlight especially in pitch-black conditions, i used this on full beam for about 80% of my ride the other night, was out for about two and a half hours, the back of the light which glows green when fully charged was half red when i got home, don't know how long the charge would have lasted, maybe another hour? So you have flashing mode, low mode and high mode, so if you have this light on low mode in a lighter environment it will obviously last a lot longer.Fitting is relatively easy, you get two different size thick rubber bands, i used the smaller size but was really hard to fit into bracket while stretching the band, the gap between the light housing and the bracket was too narrow, no way was the band going through that slot, so i took the bracket off the light housing, (just pull rubber foam backing from under bracket, you'll see a philips screw) filed 2mm off front of housing, it's fine as rubber band locates into a slot, locate rubber band on back of bracket first then screw housing back on light, fit light on handle bar then stretch rubber band through enlarged slot, fitted fine and nice and firm on hadle bar.My only worry is the longevity of the rubber band, because it's stretched so tight i just worry in case the rubber cracks or perishes, i'm already thinking ahead just in case it happens, a jubilee clip attached to the bracket, drill a hole in the clip find a slightly longer philips screw then attach to bracket and light housing, the only downfall is the light is solidly fixed to handle bar and will not budge if you hit an object, with rubber band attached at least the light will give way.I do like the charge light on the USB cable which just plugs into any standard USB connection, i have a 13amp double wall socket with two USB conections built into socket, red charging then lights up green when complete, so no overcharging.Just bought another one of these lights for my son, also bought a spare battery pack so i'v always got one fully charged in my rucksack as a back-up for night rides.Battery pack locates under handle bar or wherever you want to position it with a long velcro strap, it's secures the battery pack firmly. To sum up pleased with light as it's very bright, only time will tell to see how robust this light is, so far so good!

Simple, effective and very, very bright
This bike lamp is brilliant in both senses of the word. Indeed on top setting it's so brilliant you'll need to dip it or switch to the lower power setting to avoid dazzling oncoming vehicles. The light is a broad beam which works superbly on country roads, but may be a little too unfocussed for urban use. The battery attaches to the bike through a rugged velcro fastening and lasts at least a couple of hours even on the higher light setting. The only negative factor is the rubber band which secures the lamp to your handlebars. It's awkward to fit and the light will move on really rough roads unless you add self-amalgamating tape to your handlebars. That said, a firmer fitting would make it difficult to dip the light as required. Simple, effective and very reasonably priced, the lamp would also do nicely as an inspection light. I recommend it.

Nice bright light but useless as a head torch
Nice bright light but useless as a head torch. Strap size very small and fitting for lamp to headband cheap and fiddley. Looks like this will only be used for the bike

its ok
yea its bright probably what youd expect from a light, the rubber mounts even on the tightest slip a bit on the handle bars - consistantly having to adjust it, also a better low battery warning wouldve been nice rather the light at the back go red then poof into darkness in the middle of a forest - so dumb , i assume il just have to guess how long the battery lasts then - then to top it off after only a week its completely failing to turn on, and having a usb to charge 4x 18650's takes an age - yet another useless product with zero beta testing

Great safety feature
I'm really impressed with this bike light, it's super bright so a great safety feature. The battery life is about 4 hours as stated in the description but that lasts quite a while for me as I don't need that brighter light on all the time.Good quality and easy to install on the bike.

Poor build quality - very fragile.
I purchased this light as it appeared to offer plenty of "bang for buck" - as is often the case in life, if something appears too good to be true it probably is. The light is certainly very bright but I'd dispute the claims of 5600 lumens. I have other bicycle lights which claim much lower output which are nearly as bright. But nevertheless, it does throw out a lot of light forwards. There is no facility to focus the light so it goes in all directions at once - this makes it almost useless on the road since as soon as you aim it forwards it blinds all oncoming traffic. However I bought it predominantly for off-road riding so this is less of an issue and actually more of a bonus once in the woods since it does light up the trail ahead including the trees and edges of the track. The handlebar mount is a curious thing. The hooks that the rubber band is meant to attach to are not really big enough for the band - so it is a bit of a fiddle getting the light mounted on the bars. I wouldn't want to be doing it with cold hands in the middle of winter. It's possible that a bit of tinkering in the garage would make this better. Once on the move, the light does move around a fair bit - the rubber band doesn't hold it rigidly in place like some other light fitments. Again, some DIY skills could probably come up with something better. But my main reason for giving the light such a low score is that after my first night time test ride I brought the light back inside and managed to drop it from a height of about 12" onto carpet - and the front lens shattered! Tiny bits of glass went everywhere and the light was rendered useless. I've got other bike lights that have been dropped from a couple of feet onto concrete and shrugged it off - this thing is fragile beyond belief. As the saying goes, buy cheap - buy twice. This was £20 down the drain as I've now got to buy something else.
