Great yard boots
Bought these boots to try because I was fed up with paying out for specialist equestrian yard boots that just weren't up to the job (last pair cost £45 and didn't even survive six months). And, so far, these are great - still going strong after several months of hard use and showing virtually no signs of wear. They were also comfortable straight out of the box, although a little stiff. I was a bit worried that the steel toe would be uncomfortable and/or rub but it is absolutely fine, I can't even tell it's there. Size-wise, they do come up quite large, even for unisex sizing, in both the foot and around the ankle. I have wide feet but they are quite loose on me, even with thickish socks. There's plenty of room for two pairs. Re the real/fake leather debate: they are definitely leather - you can see the suede back at the seams. I think the confusion may arise from the fact that they seem to have a smooth coating or finish, which makes them seem a bit un-leatherlike. OK, it may not be the best quality leather but these boots are sturdy, comfy and cheap. And what more can you ask from a pair of work boots?Update: Shank is finally coming through the sole after about nine months of hard daily wear. Will definitely be getting another pair.

Great boots
Early days, but I’ve been wearing them every day, in mud, water and normal dry conditions as well as driving. Very comfortable and a perfect fit. They seem very well put together, I got less then a year out of my last two pairs of grafters so looking forward to see if these last longer.

Sturdy and Great Value
I have worn these a lot over the past 2 months and here is my report:In summary - these are reasonably comfortable, durable and great value.More detail -The boots arrived well packed and first impressions were positive, the boots looked and felt good and certainly the quality was far above my expectations given the very competitive price on Amazon. The boots are made from some type of leather (not disclosed on the packaging) with a steel toe cap and steel shank in the footbed. They don’t have the British Standard Kitemark of my previous work boots and the package is silent on other whether the soles provide electrical insulation etc. The soles are marked with ‘oil and acid resistant’. However the absence of a safety kite mark is not an issue for me as l am only using them for fairly mundane work and nothing dangerous or exciting.I have worn these boots a lot over the past 2 months, doing groundwork, and shifting materials in them. The boots have received a lot of abuse and still look good with no visible damage.I am a man with quite wide feet. Thee boots initially fitted well but after fairly intensive wear over 2 months the boots have become quite loose, in both the footbed and also particularly around the ankles. I sense that the elasticticated sides have loosened quite a bit with wear. This does not bother me as l have a tendency to kick them off when changing them and the work l do doesn’t necessitate a lot of walking. However someone with slender feet may find their feet rattling about inside the boot and someone who needs to walk a lot is likely to find the boots loose and chafing. The boots have no insulation and in cold weather I found that heavy socks are needed. The boots have gotten very wet several times and dried well with the leather remaining supple. My feet did get damp but in fairness these are not sold as waterproof. The sizing was accurate. They are reasonably comfortable for prolonged wear, and on a par with my previous (and much more expensive) work boots. There is no indication as to where these are manufactured. When wearing them driving l found that the thick sole (and no doubt the steel shank in the footbed) made them clunky and tricky to feel the pedals and l usually change into a pair of normal shoes before driving. In all these are good, sturdy, unpretentious boots and great value.Recommended.

Really narrow for size.
The boots look good quality but I found these way too narrow to be comfortable - I don't usually need wide fitting. Also very difficult to put on compared to other dealer safety boots I've had in the past.

Nice shoe and comfy... but be wary on size
Very comfortable to wear once you get them on - first few times involving a bit of wrigging of your foot. Will have to see how they go over time but so far very impressed.A word of caution on sizing! There were a few reviews on here that said they are bigger than the size so get a size smaller .. I took that on board and bought 1 size smaller to find they were too tight and had to send back and reorder my size! Since doing that they are comfy and a nice shoe. So just allow plenty of time before you need them incase you need to send them back and change sizes.

not made to last
I've been wearing these for work a couple of times a week for six months and all the stitching at the back has already completely come apart. they're really comfy so it's such a shame they're poor quality :( I should have just invested in a better pair of boots

Big !
Originally bought a size 5. I have to wear 2 pairs of socks as they are too big (very wide and quite deep but because they are so comfy to work and ride in I've bought a size 4 and they fit perfectly!
