its a chewable mat, mot really somthing for ferrets, more aimed towards rabbits guinea pigs and chins. ferrets like tunnels and dig boxes and stacking cups

It means you can tie it to the inside walls of a cage so you can make the bedding deeper in the cage without it falling through the bars. It's not a mistake, it's commonly used for this purpose :)

Buy this for your bunnies!

My bunnies absolutely love this mat! It's much larger than it appears and a great boredom breaker for very active rabbits. Great quality and very necessary to stop my buns chewing furniture.

It is just as described but my guineapigs were completely indifferent too it. And they have had these from other stores before. After a couple of tries giving them it back one of them completely buried it under the sawdust. The product seems fine though.
