Parr Glacé Cherries, 1kg

This is the second tub of these cherries I have bought. I find that they are more juicy than my previous supermarket brand, and they last for ages. Perfect for all my cakes. Really nice big cherries too.

Absolutely beautiful cherries 🍒 they are huge and taste fantastic and are a great colour especially for baking as they are a lighter red and don’t darken too much in the oven. So much better value and quality than supermarket ones

Arrived promptly and was exactly what I needed. Have not been able to buy any for weeks so was very pleased to find this on amazon. Works out a bit cheaper as bigger size and will last longer. Thank you.

Having been tasked to make a couple of large cherry cakes I thought I would use one large tub not a few smaller retail packs. It was a good decision all the cherries were whole in the tub and there was not a lot of excess sugar coating on them unlike some tubs.If I needed to make another before Macmillan coffee morning I would be buying these ahead of any other on the market.

The product is great, and best value for money. Somewhere in the plastic tub is an invisible crack, so whenever I come to make a cake, it sits in a sticky pool of syrup and I have had to clean the entire cupboard a couple of times until I now store the tub in a plastic bag.

I use a lot of cherries when I'm baking for the local geriatric hospital and the patients love these, on Empire Biscuits, cherry scones and cup cakes. So the small supermarket tub is of no use to me, not only is that flimsy packaging usually cracked by the time I get them home they are usually too stcky. Parr cherries are not only in robust tubs that are also very recyclable my grandchildren and myself reuse them for all sorts of storage. and to finish these cherries are delicious x

We do a lot of baking and these are just the ticket and make our fruit cakes that bit better.
