Elite Montessori45 Golden Bead Bars of 10 with Box

This product is well made and a perfect stand in for the materials used at his school. We’ve bought a few Montessori items for at home use and these did not disappoint. Sturdy, appropriate “gold” color, and they come in a nice wooden storage box. Worth the price for a quality product.

Great material. Mine was missing one but I fixed it using unit beads which I bought separate to set up the activities. My daughter loves them and they help her visualize the numbers

These are a good value and were perfectly suitable for using Montessori methods at home.

I teach kindergarten (Expeditionary Learning, not Montessori) and these beads are fine if you don't know how Montessori materials should look, but these do NOT fit with my authentic bead collection that came from a Montessori school. Aside from the color being too light and them being made of plastic, the biggest problem is the beads are TOO LARGE so each 10 bar is about 1 CM LONGER than those in my authentic set, which is significant when my 10 bars are only 7.5 cm long. I have made them work for the time being but you can see on the photo of the number line I am using them for in my classroom that they don't line up perfectly with the other beads and this is problematic for developing accurate number sense. You'd be fine if you use ONLY these in your bead set but they will not mix accurately if you have an authentic set.
